Answer:	This is a tool best tuned for houses. Definitely not wide enough range for a grill. I have an IR thermometer I bought for my car years ago that has a very wide temp range -- I'd recommend something not made for figuring out where your house is loosing heat if you want to use with grill and cars. I think my other one does up to like 900 or 1200F.

Question:	So how is this any different than a non-contact IR thermometer
Answer:	The most important difference between this and a non-contact IR thermometer is that once you read a base temperature you can set the device to give a visual representation of any temperature differences. The way it does that is by changing the color of a bright spot of light it projects on the surface you are measuring. That was important to me because I am in the energy conservation business and I can use it to show my customers where cold air is leaking in around doors or windows or where heat is escaping to the outside. The light will go from green to red or from green to blue depending on whether the temperature is going up or down. Nothing beats a visual indication of what is going on and this gives you that. The light registers when you first read a base temperature then when it changes it goes to blue for colder or red for warmer in 1-5-10 degree increments depending on where it is set. Personally I am no fan of Black and Decker products. I avoid them as being cheap foreign made and low quality. However, this thing works for me and I have had it for two years without any problem.

Answer:	The wall mount is an oval-shaped plastic unit with a retractable ~5/8" spike on the back. It is hung using the spike and then the laser unit will attach magnetically. Note that the spike lines up level with the laser, so you use the spike as a pilot hole for your first hole when mounting things. The laser will of course also work without the wall mount, you can just hold it against the wall and it works fine that way too if you're not drilling. Hope that helps!

Answer:	There are only two ways to Efficiently & properly charge the unit, plug it into a house 110 V outlet or Or I use a 4000 W inverter in my truck and I plug the inverter primary into the cigarette lighter and the secondary is 110 V which works great on that Max in addition to charging at the same time many charging tool batteries and led work lights. I leave it plugged in My trucks Invertor all the time while driving and all my tools including the max are always charged and hot ready to go.
Question:	Just want to make sure I understand this correctly - you can plug this into the cigarette lighter and don't need to connect to the battery
Answer:	I wouldn't count on this type of pack for anything with a motor (power tools, the blender, pumps, etc). I tried running a small fridge off a 400 watt inverter connected to a car battery and that wouldn't work. The fridge only needed ~120 watts running, but to start it's motor the "Surge draw" was ~1000 watts that would put the inverter in "overload" alarm every time. So despite the minimal time of running the blender, that "surge draw" is quite often too much for these small inverters.Also FYI, the batteries in these can give you ~200 watts of power for 1 hour (or 100 watts for 2 hours, etc). That's how long they'll last alone. I've seen in manuals that "You can extend the run time by connecting up another battery via the jumper cables", yet if you need multiple parts anyway I'd be tempted to look at a separate battery big enough for everything and a bigger inverter.One of the best suggestions I can make is get something like the "kill-a-watt" meter and see what power your blender & things need for how long. That meter costs $20, so before spending $100+ on this I think knowing what you really need (measuring the power demands) is worth it. That meter can show you both power draw while running (for inverter sizing) and KWH power use (for battery sizing).
Question:	how fast does it charge
Answer:	I don't have a CPAP or such, but have seen this question posted many times (look under the similar units like Schumacher XP2260 or Duracell 600 packs). This like those other packs has about an "18 amp-hour" battery hinting it can provide 1 amp (at 12V) for 18 hours, or 2 amps for 9 hours, or 3 amps for 6 hours, etc. Many others have said they can get at least 1 night out of the packs if you don't need to run things like a humidifier function or such that needs much more power. Since I don't have the same equipment you do to really know the power use (as well as what settings you need), one of the best ways to find out how long this would last is to get a meter like the "Kill-a-watt" and measure the power use yourself. That meter goes for under $20, so before spending $100+ on this I'd see that as worth it. Based on the info I gave above these packs can provide about 200 watts for 1 hour (or 0.2 KWH). With some of the labels like "400 watt inverter" or such you may think it lasts much longer (like at least 1 hour under that 400 watt load), but it doesn't, so don't expect too much out of it (and that's the same for all packs like this).
Question:	What is the float voltage? When the charger indicates it is done charging what is the voltage of the battery
Answer:	Yes, you can charge this with many "12V" solar panels that are out there. Just beware that if a solar panels is directly connected up, they can raise the battery voltage to levels over 15V which is considered "Overcharging". So it's best to have a voltage regulator or "Charge controller" between the panel and battery (which will stop charging once the battery is at 14.5V which is "full" for it).

Answer:	No. But it is easy to turn off by rotating the wheel that controls degree of heat. Rotate all the way to lowest heat setting and the heating element will be switched off. The small light on top will stay on, but there will be no heat in the ironing surface.

Answer:	I used this iron 2x and it would not stop leaking. I always use distilled water to keep from getting build up on the plate of the iron. Overall very dissatisfied with this purchase!

Question:	Are there Worries about overcharging
Answer:	I wondered that myself at first, but I am storing it on the charger/cradle as the item clearly intends and I keep it plugged in all of the time. When the battery is full, the lights do go out, so I think that charging stops at that point until the vacuum is hung up again.

Answer:	Make sure it's a full charge and it will last approximately 30 minutes. I have a B&D drill that came with 2 batteries, so I took one for the trimmer. 1 battery is not quite enough to trim the perimeter and obstacles on my 0.56 acre property. 2 batteries are more than enough. 1 comes up about 10 minutes short for the entire yard, but is great for front or back only. So buy the drill package that comes with 2 batteries and you will have 3 for various things. Or just buy another battery.

Answer:	there is a 1.5 ah /2.0 ah /and a 4.0 ah battery available the unit came with the 1.5 ah battery either of the other 2 will last longer of course the 4.0 would last the longest but you can get 2 of the 2.0 for about the same price as the 4.0

Answer:	I’m not sure. I think that my base was defective from start. I only had this iron for a couple of month, and at this point I have to slam it onto the base pretty hard in order for it to charge.

Answer:	Yes you can see where the water is because there is an inside measuring instrument. You will clearly see up to what point you should fill it up. However, it makes no sense to waste your money and buy this iron because over time it is going to start leaking water from the bottom. All this does is to wet up your clothes, iron board and constantly having you do a re-fill. Makes no sense to get this as a steam iron. It doesn't serves the purpose for long.
Question:	does this iron have auto shut off
Answer:	If you leave the iron on:. horizontally without moving it, it will automatically stop heating after 30 seconds. The power indicator will blink to indicate the iron has stopped heating.. on its heel rest without moving it, the iron will automatically turn off after several minutes. Power indicator will blink.The power indicator will continue to blink until the iron is unplugged or reset. These are the instructions which come with the iron and I have found them to be accurate.
Question:	can tap water be used in this iron
Answer:	Beware of using tap water. I love this iron and am replacing it with the exact same brand and model. That said, I plan to use only distilled water in my new one. After using this iron with tap water for 3 or 4, I started getting rust marks on fabric when ironing and tiny black specks of something that didn't penitrate the fabric. After going on line and reading about rust in irons, it is most likely caused by a buildup of minerals inside the steam vents from using tap water. I tried cleaning with vinegar and water but stuff is still coming out of it so am replacing it.
