Bam! No more clog. I thought my son was crazy when he told me this tip. I said Nah, that won't work. But it works. Every single time. Like a champ. Answer:	Yes you can see where the water is because there is an inside measuring instrument. You will clearly see up to what point you should fill it up. However, it makes no sense to waste your money and buy this iron because over time it is going to start leaking water from the bottom. All this does is to wet up your clothes, iron board and constantly having you do a re-fill. Makes no sense to get this as a steam iron. It doesn't serves the purpose for long.

Answer:	If you leave the iron on:. horizontally without moving it, it will automatically stop heating after 30 seconds. The power indicator will blink to indicate the iron has stopped heating.. on its heel rest without moving it, the iron will automatically turn off after several minutes. Power indicator will blink.The power indicator will continue to blink until the iron is unplugged or reset. These are the instructions which come with the iron and I have found them to be accurate.

Answer:	Beware of using tap water. I love this iron and am replacing it with the exact same brand and model. That said, I plan to use only distilled water in my new one. After using this iron with tap water for 3 or 4, I started getting rust marks on fabric when ironing and tiny black specks of something that didn't penitrate the fabric. After going on line and reading about rust in irons, it is most likely caused by a buildup of minerals inside the steam vents from using tap water. I tried cleaning with vinegar and water but stuff is still coming out of it so am replacing it.

Answer:	I'm sorry! Jennifer but, I don't know the answer. What I can tell you is that, this is a great iron. The thing I like about this iron is, the auto shut-off. If you leave this iron an attendant, the red light won't stop blinking. And I will shut down but, it will be still on as long as it's plugged in the socket. But the iron will start cooling down, until you place the iron on a flat surface. Then it will begin to start getting hot again, I like this feature because. If you forget to leave the iron on, you don't have worry about burning anything because the Iron Will cool down. Black & Decker makes great irons, that's why I Will Always by this type of iron.

I have not experienced and spitting of wAter like my worn out iron would do before it died.
