Answer:	No, it is not. When the wood gets hot it starts to bend. Mine broke in half after a couple of uses. I don't recommend this item at all.

Question:	I know the board is 36 inches, but what's the distance between the legs? I need to make sure it will fit on my table
Answer:	It holds the iron when it is open but I don't see a way if hung. The board is big and heavy so I leave mine open all the time. It is the most sturdy board I have ever had and I love it.
Question:	do the legs lock into place while ironing
Answer:	61 inches approximately. 7 inches for the iron rest. So it's 54 inches of ironing space. It's 14.5 wide and with the cover it's 15. It is the most solid built board I've ever bought. So far so good for us.Seeing the answer below I realized I didn't measure the legs which are wider than the actual board. I get 17 1/2 " when collapsed and it is 63" long.
Question:	How do I get a new pad for this ironing board
Answer:	At first, I tried it and thought "no way", but after reading the other answers, I was able to get it off. I laid it flat and got the legs out of the way, and then instead of pulling it straight out, I wiggled it a bit (left, right, left, right). It did come off. Not sure if it will go back on, but it's off. I was not used to having one, really did not need the extra ironing space so I was not using it. Also, I found when I used the board, the iron rest made it so long, it just too up too much space (my house is pretty small). Love the board, but glad the iron rest came off.

Question:	Does the 44” length include the ironing rest? What is the size of the ironing surface
Answer:	The work surface is 44 inches in length. The iron rest area is 7 1/2 inches long and about 10 inches wide.
Question:	Is the surface height really maxed out at 36”? If so that is incredibly short
Answer:	The work surface can be adjusted from 32 to about 36 inches from the floor. 36 inches is standard kitchen counter hight, I believe.
Question:	how thick is it when folded for storage
Answer:	The top is 2" or less but the feet stick out several inches. It slides perfectly inside my bedroom closet. For the small size, it's sturdy when set up. I took a picture but it doesn't appear I can load it.
Question:	has anyone hung this up? How did it go? And what did you use
Answer:	Yes, we hung ours with an over the door hanger from Amazon, it also held the Iron as well. Works great!

Question:	Will the side tray accommodate the rowenta steam generating iron
Answer:	Yes, when folded it hangs from the silver bracing hook under the the board. It’s a great way to store it, I also use tin foil to cover just the board part when storing. Keeps the ironing area dust free. Great product.
Question:	doeas the ironing board cover come with a pad under neath and can i get the same cover if i need another one
Answer:	Mine works beautifully. It has never collapsed.

Answer:	It measures from 2 1/2 inches at its narrowest point to 4 1/2 at the widest. So it depends on how small your sleeves are.

Answer:	This is sturdy. But this is small so you can only iron with arm of cloth.
