Answer:	The work surface is 44 inches in length. The iron rest area is 7 1/2 inches long and about 10 inches wide.

Answer:	The work surface can be adjusted from 32 to about 36 inches from the floor. 36 inches is standard kitchen counter hight, I believe.

Answer:	The top is 2" or less but the feet stick out several inches. It slides perfectly inside my bedroom closet. For the small size, it's sturdy when set up. I took a picture but it doesn't appear I can load it.

Answer:	I have never measured but enough to slide shoes under it. Unless the shoes have some heel on them, they slide off.

Answer:	The rods can be right next to each other (back to back), spread out the max depth of the 9-inch deep unit (about 10 inches on the diagonal), or anywhere in between. The 2 tiers can have different distances separating the rods, too.

Answer:	Hi Dawn. Yes! That's the best thing about this shoe rack! (And that the spacing between the front and back bar is adjustable, so you can make on tier lay flatter than the other to accommodate heels, flats, etc.). Just pop the black caps off the top of one unit and pop them off the bottom of the other. The bottom of the unit will fit over the top of the other for neat stacking. One more tip: fit even more shoes by placing all of your RIGHT shoes on one tier and all of your LEFT shoes on the other. You'll get an entire extra pair of shoes on the shoe rack that way!

Answer:	Hi Smokin54. This bench holds about 175 lbs sitting down. We do not recommend standing on it, however. Cedar is flexible wood, so weight on it needs to be evenly distributed. Standing could put too much force on to few of the bench slats. If you're looking for a really sturdy shoe storage bench, I recommend the Household Essentials Bamboo 2-Shelf Storage Bench Seat. Like the cedar, it has 2 shelves underneath, but it is a lot sturdier--holds up to 250 lbs easily. I have the bamboo bench in my office and have had 2 full grown men sitting on it without issue!

Answer:	Board height comes down to personal preference. Your mounting will be 11" below your desired ironing board height. For example, a 36" ironing board height is 25" off the ground. Use this measurement to determine your mounting height above floor.

Surface Mount

The surface mount application involves installing the unit directly to the face of the wall, centered and anchored to solid stud. This requires no cutting into the wall and the full 3" depth of the unit will protrude into the room.

Question:	Made in China
Answer:	No. All our ironing boards, as advertised, are made 100% in the United Kingdom by Minky Homecare.
Question:	The iron rest has small rubber-like piece on the inner area, exactly where the iron plate will rest. Will they melt onto the iron plate
Answer:	I have set my hot iron on the iron rest several times without causing the rubber piece to melt however, I've only left it there while adjusting the item I am ironing, so less than 30 seconds. I would not leave the hot iron on the iron rest for extended periods.
Question:	Is it easy to open and close? My Mother has arthritic hands
Answer:	The board doesn't lock when you close it. So hanging it is an issue. Would have been an easy fix but they missed it.
Question:	is the top metal mesh
Answer:	Yes typical top with the stretched metal mesh. What is nice is the top, pad, iron rest and the feet. This is solid and stable. Well worth it if you iron. I don't use the steam platform but maybe someday???

Answer:	The folded ironing board is 17 inches long, so as long as the shelf is 18 inches deep enough.

Answer:	If it have holes that can be used to hold the ironing board track, no problem.

Answer:	The rough-in kit is an optional features and must be ordered separately.

Answer:	Ours is not a raised panel version. Ours is an unfinished slab door or MDF. We had a cabinet maker put formica material over the entire unit. It is a very nice unit - my wife likes it.
