Question:	Is the end shelf sturdy enough to hold a steam generator iron
Answer:	This product is not petroleum based. Slip2000 is fully synthetic and non-toxic. I wouldn't eat it in quantity, but it is safe to use on equipment that may come into contact with food (I'd still clean bulk off the equipment). The MSDS, while not comprehensive as to ingredients, does not list petroleum distillates, instead saying "30-60% synthetic hydrocarbon, 5-25% metallic salts, 5-10% trade secret." Good start, they also do not use Teflon, Molybdenum Disulfide, Graphite, lithium soaps, or other volatile lubricants. I've been using Slip2000 for a while and have found it to be a fantastic all-rounder. I prefer Huskey HTS-2 for firearms, bearings, mechanisms, anything where potential (very low) toxicity is not an issue. The entire lubricant industry is very secretive about their recipes, for good reason: there aren't any magic potions, just different blends, so no one is going to advertise their exact blend! An MSDS is a good start and about as close as you can get to a disclosure about ingredients. Except for advertising what IS in their greases, even at that, some companies are more forthcoming about synthetic/petroleum, graphite/copper/alumina/Moly/PTFE, etc. Also, keep in mind, that a lot of greases/lubricants are "private label," meaning someone else makes a custom formulation (sometimes just a dye or fragrance) for use by another company. Brownell's Friction Defense Extreme gun oil (fortified with Teflon and is excellent!) is made by Slip2000, which itself is a rebranding of an industrial wire cable rust preventative/lubricant made by Superior Product Sales, but sold in the firearms market under the Slip2000 name!

Answer:	TW-25B grease is excellent for SS. Greatly reduces or eliminates galling. MC-2500 oil is equally as good. The best? Depends on where it is being applied. First apply "T-Dub" very lightly to ALL of the firearm (including the bore). On the parts (ex. trigger assemblies) that you can't reach adequately with the grease, use the oil.

Answer:	No. All our ironing boards, as advertised, are made 100% in the United Kingdom by Minky Homecare.
Question:	The iron rest has small rubber-like piece on the inner area, exactly where the iron plate will rest. Will they melt onto the iron plate
Answer:	I have set my hot iron on the iron rest several times without causing the rubber piece to melt however, I've only left it there while adjusting the item I am ironing, so less than 30 seconds. I would not leave the hot iron on the iron rest for extended periods.
Question:	Is it easy to open and close? My Mother has arthritic hands
Answer:	The board doesn't lock when you close it. So hanging it is an issue. Would have been an easy fix but they missed it.
Question:	is the top metal mesh
Answer:	Yes typical top with the stretched metal mesh. What is nice is the top, pad, iron rest and the feet. This is solid and stable. Well worth it if you iron. I don't use the steam platform but maybe someday???

Question:	How do you turn it on & off of it doesnt have a button
Answer:	It automatically turns off after it has not been used for a certain period of time unless you press the steam button and hold for 5-6 seconds. The iron then stays on until you unplug it. In my case I have it plugged into a outlet that is controlled by a light switch. When I turn the switch off the iron shuts down.
Question:	Does this iron make a beeping sound the whole time its plugged in
Answer:	No it does not - I leave mine on all day - so then the green light (or the right hand light) on the front lights up and stops blinking, I press the button right underneath (that indicates steam) and hold it down until it beeps twice. The beeping stops after that and let's me iron all day.
Question:	Can this iron be used without steam or does it automatically start steaming when you hold the handle

Answer:	No. It fits a standard size ironing board. Why not search AMAZON for a small sized ironing board pad?
Question:	Will stream penetrate it or is there a barrier to protect the board
Answer:	I think it's about 1/4" thick. I left the older padding on the board, so it's nice and thick. The silicone coating is very smooth and the iron glides over it easily. I have some metal ironing board hooks that grab the cover from underneath, so cut off the white straps. It now fits very tight.
Question:	will this fit on a board that is 22 5/8" x
