Bit of a hassle, but I wouldn't want to put a hot iron that close to a drywall wall even if the rack could take it. |

| Answer: | Yes. The flat "hooks" that go over the top of the door are totally separate from the wire unit. They snap onto the wire holder, so if you can attach it directly to a wall then just keep them off. I don't know if I can attach a photo with a closeup showing the screw holes that are part of the wire frame, but if I can I will. If I cannot, I measured the width of the screw holes and they are slightly over 4 1/8" wide. There are two sets of screws you will need put into the wall, one pair above the other. If you can get one set of screws into a stud that would be best. I don't put too much trust in the small plastic screw mounts that usually come along with items like this. |
