Question:	Does this iron get really hot
Answer:	My personal opinion; it doesn't. As many irons I've had, for some reason I'm not too pleased with this one. Not only not hot enough but it doesn't steam at all and it cuts on and off in which lower the temp even more.

Answer:	Sorry, no information regarding wattage on box or in manual. Item itself is wrapped in plastic and I do not wish to open as it's being sold as new.

Answer:	Are you filling it too full? I have found this iron very easy to use and light weight.

Answer:	I did a search by entering 18 x 50 ironing board covers and quite a few came up. There are cotton, scorch resistant and several others. Plain, geometric patterned and even one with a picture of the Eiffel tower.
Question:	will it fit a board that's 55 inches long
Answer:	Mine is 53 inches and there is still some material..it will be tight
