Question:	Is the nozzle metal or plastic
Answer:	The manual that came with the steamer states 1500 Watts which I would guess is max. As far as steaming your jeans, consult the laundering instructions. Traditional jeans of 100% cotton (Like Levis 501) can be steamed at higher temps. This could serve to shrink the fabric. Other jeans are using cotton/poly/elastane stretch material. A lower temp is indicated.

Answer:	I don't have this product or the answer to your question but there are different temperatures of steam. Very hot steam will have smaller water particles and produce a drier steaming experience, machines some times called vaporizers and some steam machines put out more heat than others. Correcting another answer you got. I need one for sterilizing and my doctor said it has to be at least 150 degrees. After the steam comes out of the machine, the temperature of the room will affect it also as the hot air or cold air mingles with it.

Question:	Is it essential that I pull on the garment (to stretch it out) while steaming it? I'm afraid I'll burn my hand in the process
Answer:	I guess you could use it to get things out of a fish tank. I never really thought about it. It might last for a bit if you dry it after using it. The metal appears to be coated but being submerged in water is not it's intended use and it will rust eventually.

Answer:	I can see the water level rise as I add water to the iron. You can see the level through the clear plastic cover. That said, this is a powerful iron that puts out a lot of steam. Therefore, it goes through a tank of water after I iron just two or three shirts. I am happy to refill the chamber as needed, since this powerful iron will take the wrinkles out of any fabric.

Answer:	DG8520 has safety clip for nose of iron (plus indented heel area to securely hold iron nose to heel - iron stays securely in place since its gripped by both sides) - keeps unit snug together with less chance of falling while transporting (previous iron could flip off during transport as you have to physically hold onto both top iron and bottom generator/station unit). DG8520 also has on/off switch (for previous models without built in on/off switch - its possible to plug into power strip with on/off switch) which previous models do not... along with larger water tank. Both can be filled with water without unit having to be cooled down. Just refill and keep on pressing! ;)I've owned several of the last 3 models (for my sewing business - these Rowenta iron steam stations can be your best friend - saves time for repetitive motions)... and like the DG8520 the best. The built in on/off switch and longer time between refilling have spoiled me... plus it's neat that I can carry unit without fear of iron being bumped off while in transport.

Answer:	Ours last longer, as long as there is water it keeps producing steam. When you hear a gurgling sound in the steamer hose then you need to lift it straight up so the condensated water will go back down into the tank and then more steam comes out.

Answer:	I don't have this steamer, but I imagine the instructions say distilled water is best. Cost about a dollar or less per gallon. Distilled water has been evaporated and then condensed back into liquid form. This means it doesn't have calcium and other minerals in it that will form deposits in the unit.

Answer:	In my review I stated 1 1/2" radius. Upon re-measuring you could probably get a 1" radius without damaging the shaft but the grasping fingers may not grip as tightly due to the bind.

Answer:	Absolutely. You might have problems with longer Berber style looped carpets because of the tendency of the claws to hook into the fabric. But for medium length stuff, it shouldn't be a major issue.

Answer:	The "claw" end can open up large enough to entrap an edge of a cell phone like the iPhone 8 as long as it doesn't have to large of a case around it. But the spring strength of the gripper is probably not strong enough to lift the phone on its own.

Answer:	The steam gets extremely hot and could burn you quickly. You need to be very careful.
Question:	Is the height of the pole adjustable? If yes, what is the maximum height
Answer:	The height is adjustable. The maximum height of the spot where the hanger would hook is 5' 1" from the floor (this includes the base). Take into account that a normal hanger will reduce the height where the garment would hang by several inches. I use a separate hanging apparatus on the back of a door to hold clothes at a more comfortable height to work with. I wouldn't let the height deter you though it is a great buy.
Question:	Is there a water additive to make the clothes smell fragrent
Answer:	Use 1 teaspoon of fragrant liquid fabric softener in a gallon of distilled water. Make sure it's fully dissolved before using it.
Question:	does it tip over easy
Answer:	The product is sturdy; however, it is top heavy when both the steamer handle and clothing are hung with the steamer pole extended to the highest position. If you lower the pole setting and avoid the temptation of using it as a hanger, you won't find any issues with it tipping over. Keep in mind though that if it does tip over, the reservoir will fall out and leak some water on the floor.

Question:	My steamer only gargles and doesn't steam continuously. Did anybody have problems with this
Answer:	Same here. Gargles loud but steam is weak. It turns off every 60s or so for around 10s, and turns back on. Take a lot longer than my previous Conair unit from Costco. Very disappointed. Returning this.
Question:	Does this give the crisp look an iron gives? I like my creases on my pants and shirts
Answer:	It does have an attachment to create creases, however judging by your question, I suspect you would not be happy using a steamer; it's fast and very easy to use but if you're looking for crisp creasers in your pants and shirt then stick with and iron.
Question:	I am concerned about mold. How easy is it to clean this machine
Answer:	I think the problem would be calcification not mold. It calls for distilled water. I would be sure it is empty of water when you are done. It is light and easy to work with, in my opinion.
Question:	The description says the warranty is 30 days but the bullet point above says the warranty is 5 years. Which is it
Answer:	The warranty is a limited 5 year warranty which is absolutely excellent in this field. It is for manufacturers or workmanship defects if the proper care has been taken of our steamer. Amazon's return policy is 30 days. These are not one in the same. I hope this helps. Thank you.
