Answer:	I haven't. But I have had one of those mall kiosk people use a flat iron on my hair and do it both straight and curled. I just never tried it! It's kind of wide, I think 1 1/2 inches so might not work too good. I think a 1 inch would work better.

If your store doesn't have one and they look up other store inventory it can be shipped to you or store. You just have to pay up front for it. I had one sent to daughter in Kentucky. Answer:	Same here. Gargles loud but steam is weak. It turns off every 60s or so for around 10s, and turns back on. Take a lot longer than my previous Conair unit from Costco. Very disappointed. Returning this.

Answer:	The steam gets extremely hot and could burn you quickly. You need to be very careful.

Answer:	The height is adjustable. The maximum height of the spot where the hanger would hook is 5' 1" from the floor (this includes the base). Take into account that a normal hanger will reduce the height where the garment would hang by several inches. I use a separate hanging apparatus on the back of a door to hold clothes at a more comfortable height to work with. I wouldn't let the height deter you though it is a great buy.

Answer:	Use 1 teaspoon of fragrant liquid fabric softener in a gallon of distilled water. Make sure it's fully dissolved before using it.

Answer:	The product is sturdy; however, it is top heavy when both the steamer handle and clothing are hung with the steamer pole extended to the highest position. If you lower the pole setting and avoid the temptation of using it as a hanger, you won't find any issues with it tipping over. Keep in mind though that if it does tip over, the reservoir will fall out and leak some water on the floor.

Answer:	No, I haven't found anything that would override it. I also use it for quilting and would rather it stayed on. I found out later that the Rowenta Focus does stay on. If I had known that at the time, I would have purchased it instead. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The correct answer is that the iron will shut itself off if it is on and (1) you leave it flat for 30 sec., (2) tip it over for 30 sec., or (3) leave it vertical for 8 min. Unplugging the iron is not an AUTO turn-off.

Answer:	I can see the water level rise as I add water to the iron. You can see the level through the clear plastic cover. That said, this is a powerful iron that puts out a lot of steam. Therefore, it goes through a tank of water after I iron just two or three shirts. I am happy to refill the chamber as needed, since this powerful iron will take the wrinkles out of any fabric.

Answer:	DG8520 has safety clip for nose of iron (plus indented heel area to securely hold iron nose to heel - iron stays securely in place since its gripped by both sides) - keeps unit snug together with less chance of falling while transporting (previous iron could flip off during transport as you have to physically hold onto both top iron and bottom generator/station unit). DG8520 also has on/off switch (for previous models without built in on/off switch - its possible to plug into power strip with on/off switch) which previous models do not... along with larger water tank. Both can be filled with water without unit having to be cooled down. Just refill and keep on pressing! ;)I've owned several of the last 3 models (for my sewing business - these Rowenta iron steam stations can be your best friend - saves time for repetitive motions)... and like the DG8520 the best. The built in on/off switch and longer time between refilling have spoiled me... plus it's neat that I can carry unit without fear of iron being bumped off while in transport.
Question:	what does 3 way auto shut off mean
Answer:	The designs are different. I am completely happy with the purple one. I had two previous models that I hated because they dribbled water all over, so (personally) I would not even bother with the cheaper one. In fact, I might buy another purple model to have in storage in case Rowenta changes the design on the NEXT model.

Answer:	I don’t know what current they use in Mexico. This cannot be used in Europe since it cannot be switched to their current and their instructions say not to use an adapter with the machine. But if Mexico is on the same current as US are 110 or 220 I don’t know which that is it will work there

Answer:	There are no clips. I use a store hanger with clips on each end and hang that from the rack. The hose is 49" and then another 3" in housing to the base.

Answer:	It’s a 5lb or 2.27kg bag of activated charcoal. Literally a large bag in a box you can scoop out to do whatever your activated charcoal desires may be. The granules are small.

Answer:	I have no idea about scuba air filters. I have used this material to create home made air filters that I’ve 3D printed for face masks. They work well for that. Cant get up to the performance of the manufactured 3M cartridges. But I’m getting close. If the high pressure cartridge you’re using just requires unscrewing the capsule and pouring out the old material to pack in some more; then possibly. Im less likely to use a DYI solution when it comes to air flow and a submerged environment for my filtration.
