Answer:	You are getting condensation meaning moisture. I mix some salt, water and a little white vinegar in the water container that hold the water for steam. Get a old towel and keep pressing the steam to released all the brown condensation. All ways keep water in the steam container.

Answer:	Use as a steam iron or use it dry. It works well. I will never use a regular iron again.

Answer:	First you would fold the sheet lengthwise then start at the top pressing the sheet as you pull it down after each press. Then fold in half again and press once more. Turn the pressed half over and press again . Your sheet should be fully pressed. Fold in half and place in closet

Answer:	It could be the water. Mineral content can wreak havoc including staining. I would not fault the press without first changing the source of your water. Give it a shot! Hope it helps.

Answer:	No The Singer Intelligent model 36T1 Steam Press will not lock when closed while pressing. Locking can only be accomplished manually by lowering the pressing plate down and turning the locking knob to “Lock” position. The press should never be locked until completely cooled down per instructions in the manual.
Question:	Is the machine designed to support 220v power voltage? Or do I need to use a voltage convertor
Answer:	The Singer Intelligent 36T1 Steam Press and other appliances that are made for the US market and purchased from a US vendor such as Amazon are 110/120 volts. In order to use them abroad you most often will need to purchase a transformer. Unfortunately we DO NOT recommend that a transformer be used on electronic/computerized products. It is our experience that when using a transformer there are too many fluctuations in the voltage causing irregular surges. For this reason we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use this press in a country that uses 220/240 volts. You need to be aware that should you connect this press to a transformer and the wiring is damaged, you will be responsible for any parts and labor to repair the machine, as using a transformer voids the warranty. Question:	How long does it take to heat up and be ready for pressing
Answer:	In heats up within a few minutes/nearly seconds at the most - just make sure you have your water in it if you desire steam, lift the lid and walk away (if you want to) for a few seconds. The lights on the top will let you know when it is ready; plus it will also give off a sound like a steam engine (not loud just letting you know when ready for steaming when you press the buttons). Not sure if I have the exact model that is shown here but I do love mine. I use it for sewing projects, jeans and most clothing when I have a huge bundle. I have had it for sometime and do not regret the purchase. It actually sits in my living room if you can get my drift (lol). Love it! Enjoy.
Question:	A complete suit gets wrinkled much earlier than it needs getting dry cleaned, that's why I was trying to see if it's worth the investment
Answer:	Paul, I've never tried to press a complete suit, but there are places that seem to wrinkle first like the lower back of the coat and the crotch area of the pants. The press works real well on this areas. I do the same thing with shirts --both the shirt tail and the area around the waist wrinkles before the collar indicates that the shirt needs to be cleaned -- a quick application of the press restores the pressed look.

Answer:	The only difference is that the ESP18 has a digital display, the ESP2 does not.

Answer:	We tried the stands offered on amazon which caused you to sit too low. We ended up purchasing a regular craft table 2'3" in height x 2'8" in width.For longer items such as curtains and sheets we use a standard ironing board. Comfort is key if you are constantly pressing items. No matter what you choose for comfort you will enjoy the steam press. It works great.

Answer:	If you want a good, reasonably-priced floor steamer, I would recommend a Shark. I've had one for a couple of years now, and I love it! I paid well less than $100 for it; though I don't remember exactly what I paid, I believe it was even less than $50 on sale at a local big box.

Answer:	I needed to crease napkins so i just laid them on the ironing board and “ironed” therm with the steamer. It worked perfectly. I imagine you would be able to do the same with your pants.

Answer:	Yes, I use a plastic hanger bc the wood can stain your clothing. There is a spot to hang next to where you hook the hose at the top. Love this steamer. Word of warning, do not leave water in it when not in use. After each use, I take the water bucket out and allow it to continue steaming until the water in the machine is gone. This prevents spores from growing and prolongs usage of steamer I believe.
Question:	Do you need the metal head
Answer:	As previously mentioned, the metal head acts heats up and can be used as a traditional iron, but for steaming it's bulky (large diameter) and too heavy to hold for any length of time. I exchanged the metal head for the plastic head

Answer:	It will hold an iron in progress, resting on the "heel" of it of course. It is made of a heavy duty plastic, but will definitely hold an iron placed on the "heel" while hot. That part of the board will also hold a stack of flat items while ironing. It is very stable!
Question:	What is the actual Dimensions of board in inches without the holder or wings out
Answer:	It's 47" long, end to tip (without the plastic holder). It's 18" wide & begins to narrow toward the (rounded) tip 33" from the end. All corners are rounded. The wings are useful in some situation. It's a partial solution to a minor annoyance & we'd replace it if it disappeared. It's reasonably sturdy, but we haven't tested the stability with children or pets.

Answer:	I have ironed fabric yardage with this press. I don't think you would have to fold it, just fan fold the fabric toward the back of the press and move it forward so you press maybe twice but you will get most of it the first time. I ironed pillow cases with it also - great press!
Question:	How does it work? Do you have to adjust the shirt fist to be completely flat so it doesn't create creases
Answer:	You iron the collar first, then put the back on presser up to the collar and take several movements of the press to get to the bottom of the back, turn to front and fit presser on the front up to the collar. It may take another movement down to get the rest of lower front. Do the other side the same way, turn and flatten each sleeve flat and press each one and done. no wrinkles anywhere, I spray inside of shirts with spray starch before pressing.

Answer:	I have not used it on a man's dress shirt. My husband likes his shirts starched so they go to the cleaners. Thus far, I have only used it to steam out wrinkles on silks, knits and previously ironed clothes that get wrinkles in the closet. The back is a great feature on the steamer.

Answer:	i have had my steamer for about 9 months and I use it all the time. There is no melting, or rusting of any parts. There are also no mechanical failure problems. This is a great machine and well worth the money I invested. My ironing board is very lonesome now. :)

Answer:	I didn't find a crease attachment, but I like it with that pull-down panel and with that I can make creases in my pants it takes a little getting used to how to maneuver it but it is not that hard, I can steam/press my clothes really quick. However, as far as cuffs & collars it comes out better if you use an iron in those areas. I checked to find the best steamer available and this model was in the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog as being the best of the best. I despise ironing but love my clothes steamer...full disclosure, I paid full price for it and did not receive anything for endorsing this product.
