Question:	How many sets would I need for a window that is 40 inches wide
Answer:	yes they are a bit. it is not super sheer because of the all over pattern in them. I bought some cheap window shades to put behind them for night time. these curtains are really beautiful and well made. planning on buying several more fore my home
