Question:	Can I use these in my apartment where there are already existing permanent blinds (not blackout ones) which I cannot remove
Answer:	The blinds are about 1 1/2 inches in depth. If you have room between the permanent blinds and the window they should fit. The top sticks to the window and unfolds downward as far as you want. They provide a clip to set the height.
Question:	Is it sturdy enough to be taken on and off daily, without ruining the adhesive
Answer:	A simple solution to mounting them daily is to use push pins or thumbtacks. If you cannot push them into wood to hold the blinds at the top of each side then use a tiny hammer or the rubber handles of a pair of pliers. When you leave if you're worried about the holes created by use of pins or tacks just spackle them with wood dough. You might use the same holes to push the pins into.
Question:	what kind of tape to use
Answer:	does the included adhesive tape at the top damage the wall/ceiling when the blind is removed. I only need them for one week.
Question:	How well do these block out the light? I need something that completely blocks the light out. Anyone got a picture of how well these work
Answer:	You can use scotch tape (or any other good tape) and use black trash bags which you likely already have to black out the window for significantly cheaper than these. I used a 30 gal 1.2 mil trash bag on my window which covered the whole thing, and it blocks out about 95% of the light. The drapes then block out the rest creating total black out. If you were to buy the heavy duty "yard trash bags" that are 2 mil or thicker, I guarantee those would blackout a window alone. A 50 gal yard or construction trash bag would cover a huge window. With my drapes (which I never open) you can see the trash bag either so it doesn't look bad. The window its on faces my backyard so nobody will ever see it outside. This window unfortunately faces east so the rising sun beams in my window and I work nights and come home to go to sleep in the morning. This works like a charm!

Question:	can you adjust height with velcro
Answer:	To adjust for height you would simply hang the curtain from the top of the window and then neatly fold or roll up the excess length. You can then neatly place the excess curtain length on the bottom of the window sill. The velcro allows for pleating so you can adjust the curtain to fit the width of the window. Depending on the width of the window you may use some, all or none of the velcro.
Question:	Can this machine washed
Answer:	Yes, the curtain can be washed in the washing machine on the COLD setting. The curtain can also be placed in the dryer on LOW. We recommend using the dryer for 5-7 minutes when you receive the curtain to remove the wrinkles and prime the suction cups for superior suction.
Question:	Will this product work if there are already blinds on the window? Would the suction cup hold to the window frame instead
Answer:	This product works very well and has great suction cups. I think it would depend on the texture of your paint, or other surface you are trying to stick the suction cup to. I have smooth frames and the cups do work on the smooth paint, but not so well on my textured wall. Your experience may vary.

Inside The Window Recess

We advise you make a set of measurements down the side of the window jamb, as sometimes windows recesses are not always square. If the measurements differ, select the shortest.

Take a small deduction of about 0.39" from the width you have entered to ensure your blind fits perfectly within the recess.

Outside The Window Recess

We advise you fit your blinds outside of the window recess if the window opens inwards, if the window is not straight, or if the recess depth is less than 3.14".

Question:	Can it suction to the wall instead of the glass
Answer:	I have not tried it on a wall. When my window was smaller than my blackout j just scrunched it up to fit. Worked ok that way, but there was a drape that covered the blackout curtain and it helped fill in the spaces.

Answer:	You can color human hair extensions but I would just buy the color you want instead of coloring them. If you plan to lighten them, it is hard to lighten extensions because you don’t have the body heat. You can always put them under a dryer but any type of color process- make sure you wash (do not condition) and dry before applying any color

Choosing the right size

The Blackout EZ window cover is available in two standard sizes- small (36" x 48") and large (45" x 66").

To select the correct size cover:

1) Measure your windows width and length as shown in images. Add 1" to the length for split sash windows

2) Choose the smallest cover that will cover both dimensions.

Answer:	Sorry for the confusion. Due to the limit of the shipping length, we cut the light blackors into several pieces. They can be sticked up when you assemble them to your window. Standard size 12" means the blockers will be cut to 12"/piece. So does the 16".
