Question:	Can I use these in my apartment where there are already existing permanent blinds (not blackout ones) which I cannot remove
Answer:	The blinds are about 1 1/2 inches in depth. If you have room between the permanent blinds and the window they should fit. The top sticks to the window and unfolds downward as far as you want. They provide a clip to set the height.
Question:	Is it sturdy enough to be taken on and off daily, without ruining the adhesive
Answer:	A simple solution to mounting them daily is to use push pins or thumbtacks. If you cannot push them into wood to hold the blinds at the top of each side then use a tiny hammer or the rubber handles of a pair of pliers. When you leave if you're worried about the holes created by use of pins or tacks just spackle them with wood dough. You might use the same holes to push the pins into.
Question:	what kind of tape to use
Answer:	does the included adhesive tape at the top damage the wall/ceiling when the blind is removed. I only need them for one week.
Question:	How well do these block out the light? I need something that completely blocks the light out. Anyone got a picture of how well these work
Answer:	You can use scotch tape (or any other good tape) and use black trash bags which you likely already have to black out the window for significantly cheaper than these. I used a 30 gal 1.2 mil trash bag on my window which covered the whole thing, and it blocks out about 95% of the light. The drapes then block out the rest creating total black out. If you were to buy the heavy duty "yard trash bags" that are 2 mil or thicker, I guarantee those would blackout a window alone. A 50 gal yard or construction trash bag would cover a huge window. With my drapes (which I never open) you can see the trash bag either so it doesn't look bad. The window its on faces my backyard so nobody will ever see it outside. This window unfortunately faces east so the rising sun beams in my window and I work nights and come home to go to sleep in the morning. This works like a charm!

Our lace material is a spun lace which means that during the manufacturing process, we are using smaller fibers and bonding them together differently then how "traditional" lace looks. Question:	how does the cordless lift mechanism work
Answer:	The cordless lift mechanism is hidden within the rail of the shade, and it is able to hold the position when lifting or lowering the shade, almost like a pulley system. Question:	does the adhesive work well on textured walls
Answer:	It’s a reasonably good adhesive for flat smooth surfaces, but does lose some ability to adhere with changes in humidity inside a house. We just glued it up when it began to come loose. It still works well. Where there was irregularity innthe surface of the window casing or wall, it did not adhere as well. So my answer to that question would have to be no.

Question:	Would these work in a bathroom? I am wondering if the steam from a shower would damage the paper

Question:	does the clips come with the shades? i bought a set that was opened and no clips were inside
Answer:	I wish I would have read the Q&A before ordering these. I'm extremely disappointed that there were NO CLIPS in the box. I've never bought temporary shades that didn't come with clips. If it had said -- order the clips, I would have done so!!!
