Question:	does the adhesive work well on textured walls
Answer:	It’s a reasonably good adhesive for flat smooth surfaces, but does lose some ability to adhere with changes in humidity inside a house. We just glued it up when it began to come loose. It still works well. Where there was irregularity innthe surface of the window casing or wall, it did not adhere as well. So my answer to that question would have to be no.

The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Answer:	I don't believe they can be but our windows are short and I was worried about excess before purchasing. Actually, the excess length does not look odd or too much at all. The slats lay flat to each other and surprisingly isn't unattractive.

Answer:	You can untie the bottom blind remove as many slats as you need to then replace the bottom piece and re tie.

Answer:	Andrea, presuming that you want the blinds to sit between the window frames (and not outside/in front of the window frames), then you should measure the across width - between - the right and left frames. This will be the width that you'll need, so if it measures 35 inches across, then you should buy the 35" wide size. P.S. Make sure to measure across on the top and on the bottom, because sometimes these measurements can vary -- especially with old wooden window frames. If the top is narrower than the bottom, go by the top measurement (or consider mounting outside, i.e. in front of frame). If the bottom is narrower by less than 1/2 inch, then you will be ok since the blinds' slat width is usually 1/2 inch narrower than blinds' frame/housing width. Answer:	You could install the brackets in 1/4 inch on each side and they'd work. Can put brackets inside window frame (that's what I do) or if you ordered longer could put brackets on outside of window frame. Hope this helps

Answer:	Absolutely. I own a cat and a dog, and they have never been able to penetrate these blinds. Oh, they try, but what these domesticated animals don't understand is that the people at Achim Home furnishings prepared for these attempts and have built these blinds accordingly. The only way these pets are going to get through these blinds is if they take/use the proper channels, just like everyone else.

Answer:	Hello, this means the brackets mount directly to the wall, either on the side or above the window. Depending on your preference and space you have to work with. The shade when it is pulled all the way up measures about 13" so you need add to the length of the window to account for this. This would also mean the brackets are screwed into the wall above the window. Most windows should have a 2x12 header above them so finding a place to put the screw should be easy enough.
