Answer:	My rod is nickelplated and the curtains slide nicely with no residue coming off.

Answer:	Stacy is wrong about the rod. It's definitely metal. At 120" the middle bracket must be used. This is the smallest diameter rod you can get, if your curtains are heavy, yes it will sag a small amount to either side of the middle. Be realistic, if your curtains are heavy get a 3/4" or 1" rod set. With that said, I have fairly heavy curtains spanning 122" and they don't really sag.
Question:	How do these open after they’re mounted so the curtains can be washed
Answer:	Some clarity.... so you mean one has to basically unscrew FROM THE WALL each time the curtain needs to come off? Unlike in the standard installation rods where one can simply lift the rod off of the wall mounted bracket (without having to unscrew them) and remove the curtain? Even though I don't think I'll have to wash the curtain THAT often, I would still think that repeated unscrewing / screwing of the rod from the wall over a period would strip / weaken the holes / rod / installation?

Answer:	Yes, I believe you can. Mine are on a very tall ceiling, so not easily accessible, but the angle piece is removable. If I remember correctly. Hope this helps.

Answer:	For the question, if these come with middle support? NO . You will need a center support or the rod will sag in the middle (especially while trying to cover 130" wide).
Question:	How much weight can this support
Answer:	I have two of these rods, one is 120 inches with apex 10 lbs of grommeted curtains. The other at 76 inches with 5 lbs. hope this helps!

Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't mount above the window. These rods are designed for tight spaces. I don't know how high your window is to the ceiling, but they can also mount on the ceiling
