Answer:	I do not know ! However, since it is a faux leather material and also waterproof I would not put it in the washing machine. Mine are black so I dont see any stains on them. I dont know what a stain on red would look like. When my black covers get greasy I wipe them down with soapy water, then plain water. and pat dry. Grease stains disappear on my black covers.
