Answer:	Can't give you exact measurement, but it is VERY thin. Also, the nubs on the bottom to keep the runner from slipping on carpet are not very good.

We have never had any complaints of them ruining carpet or rugs that they are placed on, but Persian rugs can be quite delicate, so we would recommend checking with the store that specializes in Persian Rugs for their recommendation. Answer:	It will depend. You will want to wipe off water before sitting on it as water will collect between the ribs. Life time in direct sun will be approximately 2 years. It is black and will adsorb a great deal of UV and this will degrade the plastic over time. Water from condensation may collect underneath the plastic. If your goal is to protect the finish it is most likely not the best solution unless it is a temporary cover. If the goal is a temporary cover during storms or to prevent wear along and not a polyurethane finish then it will be a good for this application. Thank you for your interest.

Answer:	I have not measured the thickness, however the roll IS heavy, so it's heavy duty. When I unrolled the whole length, and I needed the whole length, I had to weigh down the end because it wanted to curl again. After a day with another carpet on the end to hold it down, the curling memory was eliminated.

Answer:	It will be pretty easy to put right on the edge of the carpet. Be careful, if it’s on the baseboard it will prob peel some of the paint when you are removing it. Also it might pull the carpet off the tack strip when you remove it if it’s right on the edge.

This is our longest spike of all of our carpet runners and should work well on a medium shag carpet. Question:	Would this work on a gravel path? I'm getting married outdoors, and my path is gravel, but I don't want my lace train dragging on the gravel
Answer:	I also got married outside. Mine was rolled through the grass and it ripped. So, I'm thinking it will more then likely rip on gravel also. Hope this helps.

Question:	Has anyone used this aisle runner on grass? One one of my BM will be wear heals (thick heels) and everyone else is wearing flats
Answer:	If you've ever purchased a plastic table cover for a party you will have a good idea of what this runner is like. So based on that anyone with heels trying to walk on it over grass is most likely going to have their heels sink in the grass and rip the runner.
Question:	Is it noisy when walked on
Answer:	I didn't get a chance to walk on it because it was barely bigger than a front door welcome mat - quite disappointing when I went to unroll it at my wedding, but I didn't let it ruin my day. We ended up using it to mark the place where the pastor and my hubby stood waiting as I walked down "the aisle" (we had a small outdoor wedding, so no actual aisle). I think we may have gotten a fluke or "dud" so they may not usually be like that.
