Answer:	The label says to keep refrigerated for maximum potency in bold letters but it does not specify when opened or unopened. At the stores they are in the vitamin section which is not refregirated. So my assumption would be if the seal is not broken they can stay out of the fridge. If the seal is broken refrigeration is recommended. Hope this helps!

Answer:	It doesn't say it on the package but I would guess that it is. I've never seen probiotics with grains or gluten in them. However, it does contain Sorbitol which gave my daughter diarrhea.
