The inserts are designed to accommodate a 4 x 6 photo and has aesthetically pleasing rounded corners. From the back side, however, these rounded corners are unpractical as you will need to carefully clip the photo's corners. The insert openings measure exactly 4 x 6 inches with a lip of 1/4 inch. I suggest you print your photo with a border to be able to see most of your photo.
