Answer:	If I remember correctly it was wrapped with thick brown paper. It’s extremely light and there was a film on the mirror piece that needed to be removed.

Answer:	I have it outside under my garage eave, it allows me to see my dog when he is in a blind spot along the house. Not sure how it would be exposed to rain, mine is protected by the eave from direct rain fall, it works great no fogging up.

Answer:	They would probably hold the weight of the mirror alone, but that would eliminate any real scope or adjustment. With the hardware, too heavy. Especially if you want to move/adjust once up. I haven't mounted mine yet, but plan to mount securely into a ceiling stud. I have a classic without a passenger side mirror, so I'm using it to safely back out of my garage.

Answer:	The mirror is all plastic, so it should not rust The mounting bolts should be protected with a coat of Vaseline or some other waterproof material. Protect it from damage, as the mirror surface can be broken by a hard impact, such as a rock.
Question:	How far out does the mounting bracket extend
Answer:	There are different mounting brackets available however I can provide the most common mirrors. The 9" through the 18" mirrors have similar wall brackets with the exception of the mirror sold with the extendable "Tube inside a Tube" style bracket. The expanded "Z" style is 3 1/2" for the Brossard mirrors and 3" for all others. The swivel shaft extending out of the back of the mirror is around 2" and the mirror depth is around 1 1/2 inch so the total distance from the wall to the middle of the mirror lens is around 7 to 7 1/2 inches. The adjustable bracket will extend from around 22". For the 26" and larger mirrors the wall bracket is 5 7/8 deep and around 9 to 11 inches with the mirror attached. The Double mount brackets are made to attached to an above support so the mirror would drop down by the mirror diameter plus a few inches. Answer:	No it is not too big, it is just enough for you to see the hidden spot from behind or from the other angle that you cannot see

Answer:	Yes I don't see why not. The bracket that comes with it is slightly angled meaning when fastened it's not flat. On one end their are 2 holes for mounting the bracket to a wall, tree or whatever. On the other end of the bracket it's bent slightly out meaning it does not lay flat against whatever surface the end with 2 holes is fastened to. This end is where you bolt the mirror. The mirror has a ball and socket meaning once the mirror is attached the mirror can swivel on the ball and socket for adjustment. (A picture is worth a thousand words but there's no way for me to attach one.) Anyway, I would say you will be good mounting it to a tree. I have it inside attached to one side of my garage door support. I hope this helps.

Answer:	It's kind of hard to measure exactly, but the construction seems to be a durable plastic lens - backed by dense fiberboard. Since losing my left eye to a detached retina about 10 years ago, close up depth perception is a problem. I am using 3 of these mirrors in my garage to help me park the 2 vehicles we own. I use a smaller version in each corner of the the garage and a larger one in the center. Each is mounted high; about 8 feet above the floor. They make it possible for me to navigate forward or back. To answer the question: "How thick are they?" I am guessing that the plastic lens is about 1/8", and the fiberboard backing is about the same; total is about 1/4". There is a sheet metal crimp that goes around the outside to add some rigidity. The greatest risk of damaging is while making adjustments. Be sure to loosen them enough to make it easy to push and pull them into alignment. Then, tighten. Try to mount them high enough to avoid bumping into them. Best wishes!

Answer:	There are none but join the two pieces that go around the pipe on the mount piece. Match the two remaining pieces to the back of the mirror. Then add the first piece to that. Attach the mounted piece to garage. Slip the mirror onto it. You'll need a second person to help mount it I took picture but I don't know if I can add them.

Answer:	Carefully start at one edge. I used a knife. Once you get a small piece to come off the rest will come off.

Question:	Which mounting screws should I be using for a stucco house exterior
Answer:	Thank you for asking. Stucco is similar to concrete. Slowly drill the stucco with a 3/8 diameter masonry bit either through the stucco or until the hole is 1.75" deep. Assuming you don't hit a wood stud behind the stucco, then we recommend using the expanding bolts provided. If you do happen to hit a stud behind the stucco, then you might be able to drill the stud with a regular 5/32" drill bit and use the provided wood screws. We hope this helps. Answer:	Thank you for asking. The #1 factor in choosing a mirror size is how far away the mounting position will be from your eyes. This 18 inch mirror is best when placed up to 22 feet away from your eyes. If the mirror will be closer to you, then you can consider the 12" size (up to 15 feet away from your eyes). If the mirror will be further than 22 feet, you might consider the 24 inch size (good up to 30 feet away from you). Question:	I have a truck that I park inside my garage, would this mirror serve the purpose of viewing while I pull in or back out 4 clearance? 12" or 18" better
Answer:	I put two on, one on either side of my driveway entering a busy Street. Now I can relax before pulling out, because I can see both ways including the sidewalk where I almost hit a bicyclist because I couldn't see before pulling out. As to seeing what is behind you, yes, I think if you tilted the mirrors in that direction you would be able to see with no problem. But, I'm not there, so I can't say for sure because I don't have a clear vision of your situation. These are amazing, strong and good looking mirrors. Two thumbs up from this buyer and happy, relaxed user. I would call the manufacturer to be sure. They were great to me on the phone before I bought.

Question:	Can this be used on pvc gate
Answer:	Hey Lourdes, thank you very much for reaching out to us. If you´re able to drill holes into the PVC gate and the PVC gate is strong enough, that should work.
