Answer:	You can, but they probably won't fit in the screw hooks. They can hook next to the screw hooks. I would also be bery careful on what I put on the shelves with just using adhesive. Remember too that most adhesive strips need to sit 24 hours before anything is hung on them.

Answer:	They are pretty sturdy decorative shelves. I would not go over 3 pounds.

Answer:	I wouldn’t put more than 25lbs on them as the dry wall anchors are fairly small.

Question:	Are the edges of the shelves finished
Answer:	The silver screws go into the wall. The gold screws (which are shorter) go into the gold "plugs" that are inserted into the holes on the backside of the rectangular board - you then rotate it to make the hole on the plug align to the side holes on the board. Put the square board into position and tighten with the 2 shorter gold screws. Hope this helps
