Question:	How to hang up
Answer:	You find at least one stud where you want to hang the shelf. Then, you use drywall anchors to hold the screws in other holes in the metal hanging frame. Place the frame, then insert the screws. Then, slide the shelf over two rods that hold it in place. Last, insert short screws in the bottom of the shelf into the rods to keep the shelf from being pulled off the rods.
Question:	What is the weight limit
Answer:	It is 15 pounds for the 48-incher using the hardware provided. If you can't hit a stud or 2, use proper drywall anchors and you can store a whole lot more than 15 pounds on the shelf. The ones I used are rated to 143 lbs in 1/2-in drywall.
Question:	What is the spacing of the anchor holes? Will the anchor holes match 16 inch stud spacing
Answer:	The 48 inch one will hit 16 inch stud placings ( it did in my home )
Question:	Based on the reviews the anchors are low-grade. However, if I wanted to just use brackets to hold these up, what quality is the board on it's own
Answer:	It looks like painted particle board, not the best quality, but I have it over a closet holding small stuffed Amina's, so it works.

Answer:	Yes, it's unfinished. No fire retardant that I noticed. It's pine, easy to finish with a rattle can of clear enamel if you're looking for easy. Pine also takes a stain nicely, and there are a number of other clear finishes you can use over the stain if you don't want to use the clear enamel. The clear enamel cures out quickly and you can do a several-coat finish in an afternoon if you're so inclined. Or just paint it to suit your decor. Have fun! Lao Tzu

Answer:	Yes, I bought these because they were significantly cheaper than black ones. I bought a can of spray paint and bam. Saved 12 bucks or so and have black shelves now.

Question:	How is the mounting concealed? Is it hooked from the back or screwed in the front with a visible hole or plastic cover
Answer:	Screwed in from the front. Little white stickers to cover the screw heads. NOT sure how long they will actually stick but my items I'm dis playing cover the holes.

Answer:	I just used standard drywall screws. It was what I had on hand. I believe they were 2” in length. They are holding just fine and the shelves look great.

Answer:	mine did not come with hardware either. Nor instructions as to what kind of hardware to use. Fortunately I have had similar shelves (don't think they came with hardware either, but did have instructions for hanging). I use the screws with the plastic screw casing that goes into drywall, not the butterfly or collapsible ones.

Question:	how much weight can it handle if bracket gets installed on the studs
Answer:	Alot...you're in a stud...25lbs+...
Question:	how big are the holes it leaves
Answer:	Small...the screws are the traditional size but there are dry wall anchors...if your mounting the shelf directly onto a 2x4 etc you wouldn't need the dry wall anchors...the anchors will leave a hole about the size of a pea. The are nice shelves tho!!...and paintable!

Question:	can I cut this shelf down to 12 inches without effecting the bracket
Answer:	No you can not. Plus it would just look strange unless the cut down side was up against the all...i.e. it was in the corner.
