Answer:	Your Question does not add up... A speaker doesn't handle a ohm, that is what your amplifier can handle, Some amps are 1 or 2 ohm stable and are rated peak power at a particular ohm.. This speaker is Dual 4 ohm, which means each coils is 4 ohms, so one speaker can be wired up at either 8 ohm or 2 ohm so one speaker would need amplifier that could make 500W RMS or 1000W peak at 2 ohms Now if you wire up two of these speakers, it can be wired to either 1 ohm or 4 ohm so your amp would have to create its best power at 1 ohm or 4 ohms, So long story short, the speaker dosn't handle 1 ohm it creates the Ohm ( resistance ), Being that this is question that you asked i would recommend you hiring professional installer to first match proper amplifier to the QTY of speakers you are using and also have them wire this up so you do not blow your speaker and or amplifier
