Answer:	Yes! I have all sliding windows, & have added this product to the ones that create the most draft & sand from the frequent windstorms we have. Works great! Having another windstorm right now, & they really help!

Answer:	Best to split into two pieces. Then measure length of window or door that needs a better seal. For case windows or doors that do not close tight, best to install strip in the frame window or door closes into. Issue could be thickness of gap but once installed and pressed door or window pressed shut the strip will flatten.

Answer:	There is a velcro strip that comes in the package which keeps it in place which blocks out most outside noise, but not all. However, it would be fairly easy for most dogs to pull it away from the door.

Answer:	It does bend, but not sharply enough. I have a 40" wide pair of sliding doors, and I want to block the light coming from a substantial gap under the doors. I ordered the 46" long one, based on a review that said it would "squash up to fit the space" if it was too long, but it doesn't squash at all. If there is a bend in it the sausage does not lie flat along the door gap, and light comes in. In fact, the 46" length quoted turned out to be almost 48" long when I measured it. This also contradicted another review I read which said the sausage was shorter than the length quoted! I have returned it due to these flaws which make it unfit for my purpose. I should also mention for the benefit of others, that on one side the fabric is thick, but on the other side it is very thin, and you can see the inner fabric edge and stuffing through it.

Answer:	I have been using the Door Blocker for about 2 months; I don't use the tape. Like you, I didn't want to apply the tape to door. It works fine without the tape since it is basically just sitting on the threshold. However, in my case, the Door Blocker is slightly longer than the length of the threshold so it bunches-up nicely to make a tight fit.

It works for everything else, and is quite attractive, but it's light weight at only 2 lbs- and is useless for blocking sounds. Please don't waste your time if that is the main reason you are purchasing it. Find one that is heavier weighted- maybe with beads in it?

Answer:	Yes, but temperature don't too high, or it's going to affect its viscosity, you can make it hot when you stick it for installation, working in cold temps is better.

Answer:	I have the same situation. The only way I can see is to attach the adhesive side to the sliding post allowing the other side of the strip to meet the stationary glass. The top and bottom could be difficult to cut, so I have not tried this yet. Anyone have better ideas ?

Answer:	I used it in addition to the other window insulation materials to help secure them. It’s similar to shipping tape for envelopes and boxes. I’ve used it for other things too.

Answer:	If you tape a crack in between two movable surfaces, then no. So with sealing up drafts on window, no you can't open it. In the winter you may only want or need one openable window.
