Question:	Are the materials, non-toxic and/or non-carcinogenic
Answer:	It is easy, but one has to access the garage opener mechanism which is installed on the garage ceiling. That's where the remote synching button is. In my case, I had to remove the garage light cover to access button. It involved getting up on a ladder and have both hands free to get it done. I found it very easy once I knew what had to be done. Your disabilities might impair you getting it done. Don't get on the ladder and wish you hadn't.
Question:	How to apply it
Answer:	I am glad you asked. That's exactly what I did. I have 2 in the car and placed the other 2 I bought on the side of the garage door and one on the door entrance. I don't need to go inside to operate especially when I am doing yard work or my car outside. I just push it and I even step outside and make sure the sensor will not get me and just reach out for the additional remote I installed. It was easy, you just screw them or glue, whatever you prefer. I heard the battery lasts for more than 4 years. Good luck.
