Question:	Can the preset cycle start times be changed? i'm afraid my husband would think "pre dawn" means "nearly time to get up
Answer:	The cycles are pre-set & cannot be changed. Our clock says "Before Dawn" (not Pre Dawn). The tricky part is that after Midnight, the Day & Date changes to the next day. Technically, anything after 12:00 midnight would be "Morning". Since displaying the word 'Morning' would really be too confusing for many seniors & may cause many people to get up out of bed, we carefully chose the words "Before Dawn" to hopefully pre-empt this problem. If you want a clock to say NIGHT all night long until it's actually time for your loved one to get up, we would recommend getting the Dementia Day Cycle Clock. It will not give the exact time, it would read: "Now it's Thursday Night" all through the night until whatever time you set it to switch to "Now it's Friday Morning". Answer:	No it does not mention anything like that. I got one for Sister in law with dementia who can read. the nice numbers, dates and all. It helps her to key in on some reality on her own. Answer:	I have to admit that after I set this clock up initially, it put the remote control in a drawer and every time I make any adjustments I do it manually on the back of the clock. The auto dimming feature made it hard for my dad to see the clock in the evening so I turned off that feature and he didn't have problems seeing it after that. I did not use the alarm feature o the clock. We really like the clock and it is just what we need for my elderly father.

Answer:	The clocks are shipped pre-set to eastern time. It has an small internal watch-type battery that maintains time, even when the clock is unplugged or a power outage. The clock is not atomic. If you receive the clock in the other time zones (e.g. Pacific, Mountain or Central), you will have to adjust the current time using the instructions that are included. Answer:	Hi Karen,At the current time, we do not have plans to update the clock for alarms, medication reminders,agendas & etc. We have an HDMI version that should be available in a few weeks that will allow the clock to be plugged into a larger 'HDMI ready' monitor or TV, which will allow for larger display of the information that is currently displayed on the clock.
