Question:	How do you adjust the alarm volume to lower than 8? I am a light sleeper and the lowest volume I can get it to go is L08 which is too loud for me

Question:	Can you set the alarm to only sound and no light? I don't need to be woken up 30 minutes prior to my alarm going off by the light coming on
Answer:	It's what it does - but mine can be set as low as 10 minutes beforehand I want to wake at 6AM so I set my alarm for 5:50 - the light gradually comes on for 10 minutes and the tone chimes at 6

Answer:	You can only dim the daylight color. When you try to dim the other colors it will just cycle through all the different colors.

Answer:	Yes, you can directly control the volume of the sounds (0-10) and the intensity of the light (0-10). I usually like to set a vibrating alarm on my watch and the light with no sound. Makes a very mellow wake up especially in the early mornings before the sun light comes through the windows.
Question:	I used this for the first time today and noticed that the alarm turns off by itself 5 min into it. (have it set to radio) is this normal
Answer:	This is how they are apparently (poorly) designed to work. I am probably going to try and return one I was going to use as a gift because of this. 30 minutes before the alarm time set, the light will gradually increase and the audio alarm will commence at the time programmed. The audio alarm (regardless of the alarm sound or radio chosen) will then play for 5 minutes. After which, the light and audio alarm will shut off. I like to lay in bed for at least 15 minutes listening to the news on the radio and I find this very irritating. However, I have to say I will keep one of these as the gradually brightening light feature is much more effective at waking me up than I would have guessed. It is more effective at waking me up than the daylight lamp on a light timer that I used to use. Which would just come on full bright at my chosen time. I might set an additional clock radio to go off at the same time to compensate.

Question:	I am a heavy sleeper. Most of these battery alarm clocks aren't loud enough to wake me. Could you hear the alarm across a bedroom? 14'x
Answer:	I would think so. I use hearing aids which I remove when I go to bed and without them by hearing is pretty bad.. I have the alarm volume set in the middle of the indicator and the clock is on my nightstand next to my bed and I have no problem hearing it. I tried setting the wake up sound on the "beep" and put the volume control on high and went into my hallway about 12' away and it is very loud and gets louder if you don't turn it off. Hope this helps.
Question:	I am trying to set the alarm for about 12 hours from now. It sounds if the alarm is within 40 minutes of the desired time. Anyone know a work around
Answer:	For example, if you want you want to wake at 6:00 AM. Just simple toggle alarm to ON after 7:00 PM. And after you wake up, toggle alarm off. Since all this type of analog alarm clock are 12-hours clock without AM PM indicator, just simple turn it off when you wake up and turn it back to ON when you go to bed.
Question:	Does the alarm go off every day or is there a Monday through Friday setting
Answer:	There is an on/off switch, if it is in the on position the alarm goes off. It does not go by days. You have to manually put the switch to the "on" position for it to go off. So if you need it to go off Monday-Friday you will have to manually put it in the "on" position FIVE times.

Answer:	The nightlight comes on when large top bar is pressed. It doesn't stay on all night, just briefly when bar is pressed.

Answer:	To clarify other answers. The center top button turns the nightlight on and off when the alarm is not sounding. When the alarm sounds the center top button is a nine minute snooze. During a power failure the top center button displays the time. To turn alarm off until the next day click on the hour or minute button. To turn alarm off completely use the button on the back.
