It can take 5-10 seconds to connect which is annoying, oh, and you must remember to be connected to your local network (so turn the Wi-Fi on).Otherwise, Phone works fine and is worth the $4.99. The Android app is better, but you take what you can get.

NOTE: we recommend you can install strand with the empty sockets, then re-install the bulbs to avoid bulb damaged. When connect one with another, please push hard to tighten the connector. You'd better to twine the joint with electricians tape as they are Heavy-Duty strands.
