Answer:	Outside diameter is 3 3/4 inches
Question:	Can it be hung on the wall without using the suction cups
Answer:	The suction cups are part of the enclosure. If you do not have a smooth flat surface, you can make a wire hook out of a clothes hanger to fit around the suction cups and then hang it on a nail. That's how I have done it.
Question:	Can I attach this clock to the wall with Velcro? Will I still be able to change the battery
Answer:	You have the suction cups to contend with in the back. Use a good adhesive to attach the Velcro to the suction cup(s) as mentioned by the previous commenter. Or.... if you are up to it, and are good with tools, cut off the 5 suction cups carefully and attach the Velcro to the whole back side. I agree with all of Karin Bronstein notes below. I made a wire hook hanger which attaches to the top two suction cups, and which I hang on a nail above and outside the plastic shower wall.

Answer:	the outside ring appears to be stainless. The clock fits inside and is made of plastic. You stick the ring on the tile and push the clock into it.

Question:	Can you hang on wall without suction? Is there a spot to hang on a nail
Answer:	No, there is no actual spot for a nail on the back but if you unscrew the suction cup it might be usable but not really recommended.
Question:	does this clock have 24 hour time
Answer:	Yes, it has 12 and 24 hour time. You choice and can change the display as you like. Word of advise, if I may. Be sure to put the suction cup up first and then screw in the clock fitting. Otherwise, the suction may not hold and the clock will crash to the floor. If you put the suction cup up first, it hold really well- not slips at all.
Question:	Does this clock have a timer mode? For example, can I set it to sound an alarm after 15 minutes
Answer:	I bought this clock based on the Yes answer on this question but it does NOT have a timer. You can set (not very easy) an alarm to go off at a specific time but not a timer so that your teenage kids know their time is up. I've yet to find one that has both a clock for the time and a timer to shorten showers.
Question:	Is this clock water proof? Like can I hang it directly in the shower
Answer:	It is definitely water resistant (though I'm not sure I would submerge it). Mine is on the shower wall opposite of my shower head. It's made to go in the shower. I've had it for about a year and a half and I've had no problems (even after dropping it). I would recommend it.

2. PLEASE use 1 x AA NEW ALKALINE BATTERY as this Clock has MANY FUNCTIONS - Seconds Counter/Temperature/Month/Date/Day. When the Clock Digits go faint OR they disappear, this means you will need to replace the Clock battery with a NEW one.
3. The SUCTION CUP works well on any NON-POROUS surface such as - * Glass * Window * Mirror * Stainless Steel * Granite *

** ONLY some Ceramic Tiles are suitable for Suction Cup Method **

Always TEST SUCTION by placing slightly above a vanity bench to see if the ceramic tiles are suitable for the suction cups to hold.

The suction cup is very effective but can be temperamental if not applied properly. The suction power relies on draining air out of the cup, so the surface MUST NOT be concave-convex OR have any holes, liquid or anything else!

AVOID moving the Clock when using the Suction Cup mounting method, and always make sure you regularly check the suction to make sure it is secure.

a) Clean and dry the area before installing or reinstalling. Ensure the surface is flat, smooth and not concave and/or convex. b) Applying a small amount of moisture to the suction cup. c) Press the outer edges of the clock timer, push out the air. d) The ‘other non-smooth surface’ please use 3m adhesive tape for textured tile, rough wood, emulsion paint, etc. Stick the 3m adhesive tape to the wall first and then attach the suction cup to the tape.

ALWAYS ensure the SURFACE IS DRY and CLEAN, otherwise it will reduce the adsorption capacity of suction and then drop down!

PLEASE NOTE: The preferred method of mounting the clock is using the STAND for Bathroom Vanity, Kitchen Table, Desk & Shelf or HOLE for Hanging on the Wall.

Answer:	I can't give a precise answer because the soap dish slopes to a smaller base from the top. The length range is 4 1/2 to 5 inches and the width ranges from 2 1/2 to 3 inches. I tried my Pixel and the width worked but not the length so it would not be secure enough around water for me.
