This is not sugar, it's an edible but flavorless glitter. |

They're pricey, at about $35 for .4 oz... but you can find them on Amazon under "edible gold flakes." these are meant to be used "dry" for toppings on cakes etc where they wont dissolve...they're just cellulose (which is like a dried gelatin.) Though you could probably successfully rim a glass; just like with sugar or salt, they'll dissolve as they contact moisture. |
