Answer:	A BTU is a British Thermal Unit, and is defined as the amount of heat required to heat one pound of water, one degree, in one hour. Since there is already an hour in the equation, it wouldn’t make sense to add “per hour”. It doesn’t matter if the candle is burning for five minutes, or one hour, it’s rated at an instantaneous 1800 BTU heat output. It’s like the wattage of a light bulb; if it’s a 40 watt bulb, it’s putting out 40 Watts worth of light, no matter how long it’s turned on.
Question:	Doe the glass get hot when a real candle is used
Answer:	Depends on the size of the rent. But as you can see it each one gives off a certain amount of BTU of heat. So if you have a 1 person tent the. Definitely will. If you have a 6 person tent it won’t do anything more than a flashlight. Though you need ventilation when using these inside of the tent. Lighting a candle produces carbon dioxide so you can asphyxiate yourself and die if you close the vent flaps trying to keep the small amount of heat this produces. The large triple candle one will work like a heater In a small 2 person tent even with the flaps open. While this small one producing around 90 btu it’ll get rid of the frost build up and will make a small difference for the better in a 1-2 person tent. Though I wouldn’t be buying this as a heat source. But when camping in the winter it’ll definitely warm you up a lot when holding it. Still an awesome lantern and I love mine so much id never return it. In fact I want everyone to have one haha. But make sure to only buy the UCO candles. Don’t buy knock offs for cheaper. If they don’t have the brand packaging then they are not real ones. Be ready to spend hours cleaning the mess from the knock off to save a few dollars.

Answer:	Right under the circle that holds the candle there is only about 1/4 in of space The circle is about 2 inches in diameter. I would say depending on what you want to add as decor there would be room around the outside of the circle.
