Answer:	Sorry but this cannot be hung on vinyl or wood siding. It will get too hot and melt it

Answer:	In all likely-hood the fireplace will be low enough for them to reach. The glass gets very warm but not hot enough to burn. More importantly, what you probably cannot see in the photographs of the fireplace is that the glass does not go all the way to the bottom of the unit. There is about an inch gap between the bottom of the glass to the top of the burner unit. This gap is necessary for closing the damper over the wick to extinguish the flame. There is a special tool that comes with the fireplace close the damper and extinguish the flame. Because of this it is very possible for a two year old to put their hands directly into the flame which is extremely hot. They would definitely get burned. So if you purchase this unit or any other brand ethanol fuel fireplace close supervision is advised. I own this fireplace and I am very pleased with the unit. I think it is one of the best models in the market. Because this is type of fireplace burns real flames it should never be left unattended, children or not. The fact that a child could possibly touch the flame should not discourage from purchasing the fireplace. After all children can get into all sorts of mischief. Example, a child could reach up and touch a hot stove burner and get burnt, this does not stop you from owning a stove. When cooking in the kitchen you just keep a closer watch on your children to prevent that accident from happening, the same is true with the fireplace. Answer:	You need to buy the ones made for it. These cans have an insert that acts as a wick.

Question:	Can a remote be connected to this burner
Answer:	Remotes are more for milivolt gas fireplaces, and electronic igniting gas fire places. This is direct natural gas and has to be lit externally and manually.
Question:	Is this a half inch flex line
Answer:	I’m not entirely certain but it appears to be a 1/2 inch SAE threaded standard gas line fitting. I’m using this outside and very pleased with quality. good luck
