Answer:	Remove the 2 screws on the top metal bracket. Once the bracket is out of the way carefully pop the glass out. Install crystals and reassemble

Answer:	There is no way to lower the sound that I’m aware of. Since it is so temporary the sound doesn't bother me at all.

Question:	what size hole do I need for a 42" fireplace for a flush mount
Answer:	We have ours mounted. I believe my husband said it can be used as an insert but we are in an apartment. It isn’t that wide so it is not bothersome or in the way using as a wall mount. It is a very pretty piece and does take the chill out of the air when using.
Question:	How far from the floor can I install fireplace? Is 12”, 16”? . Also if can install fireplace 12” above tv and 65” above the floor
Answer:	We have three of these and they are great, but you can't regulate. High or low are your choices.
Question:	I have 42in wall to wall to mount built-in insert what size unit do I need to purchase
Answer:	I would not suggest it because the heat will go directly up and back to you TV. My little fix was to create and wood frame then use mount provided. It pushes it off the wall enough without looking horrible and the heat does not hit the tv. Another option if your crafty is to make a blacm metal redirector for the heat to go forward. That going to be my next project.

Answer:	No idea. Mine runs until I turn off. Been set to automatically go off sounds like. Does your booklet tell you how to reprogram?

Answer:	I have never used the timer but yes, there is one and you can set the temp as well. I really like this product. It really warms up the room. I usually only leave it on for an hour or so. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, this fireplace makes noise but the noise level is very low and doesn’t seem to bother me. The noise does not keep me up at night. It just depends on how much noise a person can actually tolerate. When the heat setting is switched from low to high, there isn’t a noticeable change in the noise level. When using only the flame setting without heat, there is a very low clicking sound.

Answer:	It comes out of the top of the unit.

Answer:	The heat is released from the top of the unit not from the front and the cool air enters from the bottom, so I would say that this unit was not designed to be recessed.

Answer:	No special wiring and it uses about the same amount of power as any other space heater

Answer:	I believe it's between 4-5" in depth. But measurements you have here won't even have the length for this 42"L to fit into your 35"L.

Question:	Is there a blower/fan,to circulate the heat
Answer:	I have mine installed 12 inches bellow the tv and ran the unit all night with the fan and heat set on high without any issues.
Question:	Can flames be on with out the heater
Answer:	That really depends on how you want it to look. My 42" unit is on a 63" section I bumped out from the wall, and the actual fireplace insert hole is 33".
Question:	What is the total height and width and depth of the total size firebox and frame. Where is cord located, left or right side
Answer:	Yes, you should be able to put the glass rocks in There is a flame behind where rocks/or glass rocks go. There is a shelf for the rocks. I am not sure if the flame will illuminate the color of the rocks though, but it sounds like a great idea. I will try it.
Question:	Can you hang a 36 inch wall fireplace insyead of mounting in an apt
Answer:	Get one from the manufacturer
