Answer:	You cannot store the rotisserie skewer in the base however, the placement of the skewer is such that you should not need to remove/store the piece.
Question:	The manual says to install the bottom 30"-40" above the ground for best viewing angle. That is pretty high. Is that for someone standing or sitting
