Answer:	This water heater is an instant water heater. As long as there is water and electricity, you can take a shower as you like. Answer:	I'm not an ac tech, but Y1 is 24 volts ac. Depends what kind of unit you have. I have Lennox units with the new I-control, so went to the i-control 24 volt input.

Answer:	Unless you have an outdoor compressor (or heat pump) that is more than 20 years old, it would be a better idea to use two AG3000s, or in my case, I use three AG3000s. Let me explain. The main difference between the CD1-024R and the AG3000 is the CD1 has short cycle protection in addition to surge protection. What this means is that if you have a power failure that lasts just a few seconds, the CD1 prevents your compressor or heat pump from starting right away because this "short-cycle" can damage the compressor. However, virtually all compressors and heat pumps that were manufactured in the past 20 years have short-cycle protection built in to the unit, so the CD1 would extend the delayed startup from 3 minutes to about 5-6 minutes. This is completely unnecessary, and since CD1 costs significantly more than the AG, you may be wasting money for a feature you already have. You could test your unit by tripping the circuit breaker that feeds your compressor while the compressor is running, then flip it back on after a couple of seconds. Check your compressor and see if it comes on right when you flip the breaker on, or is delayed a few minutes. I use an AG3000 on my outdoor compressor, and two AG3000s on my two stage 240v electric heating coil of my air handling unit located in my house. A two stage heating coil requires one surge protector for each 240v line (there are also three stage heat coils out there too). So doing it the way I did protects my outdoor compressor and my indoor air handling and heating unit. This is called point-of-use protection. I also have a whole house surge protection device on my circuit breaker box which suppresses voltage spikes at the mains, and suppresses to help protect all electrical devices in the entire house. Answer:	The pot sits on a base that is the electrical connection. The base is the size around as the bottom of the pot/Carafe. The Base has the electrical cord that plugs into the wall. The On/Off switch is built into the bottom edge of the pot.. After water boils, it will automatically turn itself OFF. Or YOU can touch the switch OFF or ON. When the water is up to the MAX FILL LINE, the pot is very heavy to lift. I LIKE MY KETTLE/POT/CARAFE!

Answer:	The glides fit well into a 1" dia. tube. They lock through expansion so they will fit other size tubes. I did not measure them before installation so the following is an estimate. I believe, they would fit from 3/4 to 1 1/4 inch tube.
Question:	What does it cost to run it hourly
Answer:	I hated the sound of the skis in my laminate flooring and found the tennis ball covers collected dirt and wore out quickly when used outside. After some experimenting, I found an easy, inexpensive, and quick cover for the skis..baby socks! I call them "walker socks". A multiple pack of newborn socks is cheaper ( about $13 for 6 pairs) than these covers and they can be removed for washing, unlike the tennis ball covers. Yes, the socks will wear out, yet they are easy to replace, and if one gets worn out before the other I don't have to buy another whole set like the tennis covers. The "walker socks" are quickly removed before going outside if desired. They slip on easiest if you think the skis are like feet with the curved front as the "toes". And you can get colors you like!

Answer:	I purchased for a 1" tube but believe it will work for a 7/8" but not sure about the 3/4".

Answer:	They are Three inches long and one end is curved up a little. They have a Philips head screw that tightens the skis so they do not fall out. You have to tighten them very tight. Also, if you have wood or tile floors they have a little bootie you can put on. Does not work with carpeting.
