Then confirm that your heater is displaying the temperature in Fahrenheit. Once you have your heater settings on Fahrenheit, relink Smart Life to Google Home. Now you will be able to operate your heater with Google home in Fahrenheit. Answer:	All electrical resistance heaters convert 100% of the energy they use to heat. The efficiency question comes in, as Heat Storm says, when you ask where is the heat going (fan blows it into the room where you are - so good) and does it create too much heat (thermostat shuts it off when the air is warm enough - good). The answer from Amazon Customer on December 7, 2020 is incorrect. Every last watt will become heat in the room, even the light from the glowing element will become heat in the room unless you point the heater out an open window - don't do that, and you're all set.
Question:	Has anyone noticed their electric bill increasing significantly with this product? How energy efficient is it
Answer:	Mine NEVER SHUT OFF. Even setting the timer for 8 hours it never would shut off. They only way to turn it off is to unplug it. But honestly, it doesn’t heat anything so I don’t think there’s any harm except to your pocketbook if it runs all day. It’s also suppose to with over WiFi from anywhere in the world however the app crashes upon startup so there is no WiFi. Please look elsewhere.

Answer:	You won't get burned and it isn't noisy. I have it sitting on my desk in my cubical and nobody has ever said anything about it being noisy. It's so quiet at my company you can hear a pin drop most days. The sound of me typing on the keyboard is louder than this heater/fan. I love this little thing!

Answer:	This unit uses 750 watts on high and 375 watts on low plus a fan only setting. In my opinion this unit is appropriate for a small bathroom or very small bedroom. It is quiet and functions perfectly. But not a good choice for a larger space.

Question:	What is it’s BTU
Answer:	Basically, all electric space heaters convert 100% of the electricity you pay for to 100% heat. That would always be about 3.4 BTU/watt/hour. So 1500 watts is about 5000 BTU/hour and 750 watts is about 2500 BTU/hour. A window or mini split heat pump on the other hand extracts heat from the outdoor air and uses that heat to heat the indoor air, so the BTUs per watt can typically be from 1 to about 5 times what an electric space heater can do depending on air temperatures and many other factors. Space heaters are really cheap up front, but heat pumps can be cheaper in the long run if they never wear out or require much expense in annual maintenance, which is the real question. My problem with space heaters is that dust gets into them and after a lot of use, perhaps 100 to 200 hours running time, you can no longer run them on high as they overheat due to dust build up and a weak fan. They are usually sealed so you can't open them up to give them a good cleaning. All you can do is vacuum the outer surfaces and perhaps use the exhaust on the vacuum to blow out the internal deeper dust. Or take it outdoors and blow through it with a leaf blower. Heat pumps are safer as several houses in the US burn down every year due to accidents with space heaters, for example, a piece of curtain gets too close or sucked in and catches fire. But modern space heaters are designed to make it somewhat harder for that to happen.

Answer:	The first run has a powerful smell but quickly subsides. I am not familiar with any beep codes or why it would not power back on. But with heaters I recommend not leaving it powered if it is not performing as expected that could be a fire risk. I would seek support from the manufacturer on your unit.

Answer:	No, it won't burn you. It just gets warm to the touch, with the grill being the warmest. You can pick it up and move it by holding inner metal cone in the back. It's very sturdy!

Answer:	I use it in a 350sq ft room with 10ft ceilings and terrible insulation and it works great. Running on high for about 20 mins and the room is comfortable.

Any high current device presents the same danger.

Answer:	Not sure. It is a plain 2-prong plug.

Question:	if power goes off, will it come back on when power is restored? ...thanks
Answer:	Yes, the VMH300 has analog controls. It will come back on after a power outage.
Question:	How many btu
Answer:	What's with space heaters being sold and nobody listing the BTUs, the most important piece of info about them? Vornado's website doesn't list it, it's not in the manual they have on their site. I see the answer from harold says manufacturer, so I assume that's correct, but what's up with this? Is it a secret? It's the same thing for most of the space heaters listed on amazon. I'll never understand how companies sell stuff and don't list major details. the fact that is doesn't say it in their manual is ridiculous. It should say it everywhere, in the sales listing, the manual, their website, and probably even on the box.
