Answer:	Color is 3400°k. Whiter than standard OEM bulbs, but not bluish. Perfect for long distance vision. (Bluer bulbs actually reduce distance vision as the blue coating absorbs a lot of light; and the eye has a harder time seeing in the blue spectrum due to smaller number of rods in the eye sensitive to blue, and that blue focuses in a different part of the eye). Point being, you lose a lot with the "whiter" bulbs. I purchased a set of these in Feb. 2017 and they're still going strong. Especially so, considering that I'm running with DRL on. Best Halagen bulbs you can buy.

Answer:	Perhaps because it is a new product there aren't many verified purchasers ready to write a review. This is a well made heater, operates virtually silently, moves easily on wheels and does not get hot to the touch. But while I realize this is a radiant heater rather than forced fan, it is just not warming up a room for me, even after letting it run for 1-2 hours first. Probably user error but my forced fan heaters are more suited to my needs.

Answer:	About six feet. Long enough to get the unit out away from the wall and not need an extension cord.

Can it be left on overnight

Answer:

Hi! Is your Great Room well insulated? Does it have a high ceiling? Do you need to rely entirely on the wall heater to throw the heat around the room and maintain a fairly uniform temperature? What electrical circuitry do you have available? The excellent quality unit you have selected can be adjusted to put out only as much heat as your wiring safely allows... A 30 Ampere breaker and #10 AWG conductors (240 Volt circuit) will yield maximum heat output... I don't recall the maximum heat output off the top of my head, but let's say it is 5 KW. At 3,413 Btu/hr per KW, your max heat output would be about 17,000 Btu/hr per unit. If you can get the winter heat load calculation for your house (newer homes are likely to have room-by-room heat load calculations available if you ask the builder, architect, or engineer), you should be able to come up with a number... Let's say you live in a mild climate and the Great Room is well insulated... It would not he unusual for such a room to lose about 24,000 Btu/hr on a design day of, let's say 35 degrees F outdoors, 68 degrees F indoors. A single heater unit would probably not keep up with this modest 30 Btu/hr per square foot heat loss... Maybe that's OK with you! If you live in a place where winters are cold, and your house is not well insulated, and you need to keep the indoor temperature up around 68 degrees on a design day, then you might need THREE of these units! The best way to arrive at the number of units you need is to work with an engineer or contractor who routinely does heat load calculations, understands air flow, and can assess the electrical capacity you have to power your heater(s). Maybe just install the first one, and how it works, then be ready to install one or two more if they are needed..

Answer:	I don't know, mine doesn't do that. I have another space heater that has a thermostat and it turns off and on accordngly, but as far as I know, this one does not. I'm wondering if yours has a short in it perhaps?

Answer:	Hi. I own two of these heaters. They are great. I've discovered that if the the Temp Control is set to 400 watts, the heater will never cut off due to overheating no matter how hot it gets. But if you set the Temp Control to 800 watts, the heater will indeed shut off automatically once the room heats up to a certain temperature. The only problem with that is once the heater shuts off, it will NOT automatically come back on once the room cools back down. Instead, you'll have to manually turn the heater back on. To accomplish this, once the heater has automatically shut off, you must manually rotate the Temp Control to the OFF position. Then leave it in that position for at least a couple of minutes. If you turn it back on too soon nothing will happen. But if you wait a couple of minutes and then rotate the Temp Control back to the ON position (400 watts or 800 watts) the heater will then come back on. I've owned two of these heaters for years and they all work this same way, and that's the only negative quirk about them. Otherwise, they're great. They're the best little heaters I've ever purchased.

Answer:	Yes, it is supposed to make a lot of noise as the oil inside is heated. Once it gets to a certain temp it will be very quiet.
