Answer:	I use this in my small basement "18x14" and running at Max it only heats the room up to 68ish. For reference it's 45 degrees outside and my basement is mostly above ground with 2 windows and a door.

Answer:	Mine is quiet, so quiet that I forget that it is on sometimes. If yours is making such an annoying sound, I think it may be defective. I’m in the south so I set in middle . Watch your return time as I’ve bought a few and one lost heat element and only rotated to one side but Amazon replaced immediately. It’s a small compact heater /fan and my best purchase in place older high towers not cost efficient.

Answer:	If you use it every day, for extended periods, you will see an increase in your electricity use, which will translate to an increase in your bill. I took the path of using masking tape to block all the outdoor winter air leaking into my apartment around the sliding doors and windows to reduce/minimize the need to use the heater. You do not want to use this heater as your primary heat source.
