Answer:	It blows out of the top portion the unit, in a one inch strip that is just above the video screen and the air comes out perpendicular to the screen. The air intake is also in that same strip. Go to the manufacturers website, they have a very nice manual with excellent diagrams of the units.

Answer:	The instructions do not address this directly. They state that a mantel should be 8" over it and that combustibles like drapes and furniture should be 36" away. However, if you look through the review pics from the various size Allures many have placed the TV closely above the fireplace and left 5 star ratings on their experience. I'm currently installing mine with a TV 20" over. If I run into any trouble I'll update this. But I'm expecting it to work fine.

Answer:	When you first use the baffle boards there is a starch that burns off around 300 degrees or so, but you shouldn't notice any odor from these boards if you stove is drafting properly as it's completely inside the combustion chamber, unless you are smelling the smoke outside your home. If you were smelling the starch burn off it would smell like you were burning a starchy food on the stove. As long as you run the stove between 300F and 500F (surface flue temp) for 1 hour you will completely cure the parts.

Answer:	I found a helpful response to this question was difficult to come by, but the product manual was what told me what was needed to assess fitment.http://mynapoleon.napoleonproducts.com/landing/product_details/44/1/1704/7The Ascent 33 fits into a 32.5" wide opening although to have the surround trim 100% flush with the wall would need to be 34" wide opening. The product slides into a 28" tall opening and again would come flush right at 28 5/8".In my case was a direct fit into the existing fireplace and only had to raise the product 1/4" from bottom in order to remove any visible gap at the top.If doing a wall mount that does not involve an existing fireplace opening will need to build the opening according to product manual.

Question:	Will is work with just the power cord or does it need to be fully assembled with the heat sensor and speed controller
Answer:	We made it with the built-in look you desire. For a standard 2x4 studded wall we needed more depth for the fireplace to be flush so removed the interior drywall. We got the needed depth by screwing 2x2 boards to the front of all existing 2x4’s as firring strips. We found that hot and cold water pipes were running where the fireplace would sit so had to purchase extra pvc/cpvc and 90 degree turns to reroute the lines around that area. We needed to form the recommended box/cabinet size for the fireplace so cut out the middle of some wall studs and screwed in other 2x4’s to form the cabinet. We ran wiring to the inside of the 2x4 cabinet. After reinstalling sheetrock, it was easy to just set the fireplace into the cabinet and screw in the surrounding tabs to hold the fireplace in. The fireplace facia slides down and is flush with the drywall and has a clean, hardware-free look.
