Answer:	You only need electricity if you have the fan option, the fan really helps circulate the heat in the room

Answer:	I have been using my Empire wall furnace for over 12 years. This model does vent to the outside via wall or ceiling it’s quite and reliable. You can add the blower kit to the top but in most rooms it’s not necessary. Be sure to clean around the base of furnace as lots of dog hair or dust bunnies can clog a burner jet. Always have and o2 alarm installed in same room
