Answer:	I bought one of these. They work so great. But as i smoke almost every day maybe 2 to 4 joints and 4 bowls a day. Some times more sometimes less. so with what others wrote about. Maybe the bottle would be good idea, toilet rool not so much but ok. What I decided to try was used dryer sheets. I have a bag full as I save them to put in when doing blankets and heavy items. So with that said, I place ONE USED DRYER sheet into the cavity of the mouth piece. Each time I smoke it captures the residue and smoke as well as the Carbon filter but it traps it easier. I move the dryer sheet to get lots of use out of it. It will make my smokebuddy last longer as well. Perfect solution for me.

Answer:	quite simple, inhale smoke normally, but then you exhale into the product. You have to create a seal around the opening of the product and blow threw the device. It does take more pressure then a normal exhale because you have to push the smoke through the carbon material. That said, it works remarkably well, reduces odor dramatically and the smoke that goes in comes out as just air
