Answer:	I have received three different Fresh Plus filters and they all had an odor to them. When I contacted the company about the first one having an odor they just sent me a replacement filter, no questions asked. The replacement filter also has the odor. This leads me to believe the odor is not a concern for them, just an annoyance if it bothers the user. It bothers me, but does not bother my husband. I have since switched to the Silver filter and there is no odor.

Answer:	No they dont, not do allot of others. my firmware got updated on my printer and it rejected the cartridges. I rolled the firmware back. Do not update your firmware.
