Answer:	I'm sorry, but Alen Corporation is incorrect and is falsely advertising this product, if they are claiming that they do not use the words "True HEPA," as "J" from Alen Corporation claims in his reply to this question. As of 2-26-2020, the description for this product on Amazon absolutely says "True HEPA". It reads: "Alen Replacement Air Filter for BreatheSmart Classic, True HEPA VOC Filter for VOC's, Smoke, Chemicals, Allergies, Pollen, Dust, Dander and Fur by Allen." I originally purchased this product, believing that it had a "True HEPA" filter. If there is a difference between "True HEPA" and True HEPA VOC," then that difference needs to be clarified.

Question:	Does it come with a filter
Answer:	No the ionizer produces negative ions and negative ions do not give off ozone, but in fact are beneficial in helping the filter clean the air. Negative ions bond with particulates on a molecular level which make them bigger in mass to get trapped by the HEPA filter, so it's a good thing to keep on for the cleanest air.
Question:	Can the filters be washed
Answer:	Yes. It can be against a wall...air comes in the sides then it is expelled thru the top. Fyi mine broke within 2 weeks. I sent it back for full refund thru Amazon. The air was so fresh in my home...because of that that I have ordered the Alen Breathsmart classic that is an older model...I hope it lasts. They do have a lifetime warranty but a new product should not break right away. This 75i was a new model that I think they need to fix.

• On the auto setting the fan speed adjusts to clean the air you your home.
• On/Off Ring changes colors to display the air quality levels
  • Red Dirty air and high levels of pollutants in the air. Fan turns on to the highest setting.
  • Orange Moderate levels of airborne pollutants, fan is on level 2-3 to clean the air.
  • Blue Air is clean, fan is on the lowest setting to maintain clean air in your house
• Passive sensor located on the outside of the purifier to detect the dust, pollen, dander, and unpleasant odors in your home.
