Answer:	I have my in a basement window which is over sized and boxed in. But looking at the dimensions I would say no. You might end up damaging the screen. I like the fan and it does a good job of moving air.

Answer:	Yes each fan has it's own intake and exhaust switch
Question:	I want to make sure that the fan can be changed from input to output withought physically turning the fan around in the window frame
Answer:	There is a switch for each fan to change from input/output. Note: my fan completely died the other day so threw it away. The back plastic had warped so the fan blades would hit it at slow speeds unless I bent them a bit.

Question:	Can you use it in vertical position since my window slides only to the left to make an opening
Answer:	Yes, it fits nicely in the vertical position in your window. That's how I use mine.
Question:	What is the cfm rating
Answer:	The CFM on High is approximately 560 and on low it is approximately 396.
Question:	how much air does this move
Answer:	It moves air in pretty good, but of the three I purchased one did not work at all and the other two do not reverse. They only blow air in. It is hot where I live so I ended up putting them in facing out.
Question:	Is the fans motor waterproof? Any issues using it on rainy days
Answer:	I've never removed my fans, even in full-on thunder storms. They're fine. Some of my older fans were getting so grungy that I even decided to risk spraying them off in the shower (which you're clearly not supposed to do). So I unplugged them, stuffed them in the shower, hosed them off, and let them completely dry for a couple of days. They work fine. So while I'm not sure they're officially "waterproof" in any way, they are certainly moisture resistant.

Answer:	The fan should sit in most casement windows inside the window screen with room to spare. If your window doesn't have a screen and you have the fan set to blow outside air into the house, you probably would not be able to stop the bugs.
