Answer:	I think the other replies were with older models? I just purchased this model and there's no issue with opting out of the thermostat feature. As noted in the instructions, to get to continous air flow, you just keep clicking the button through the modes (first you click throught the various thermostat temperatures, and then you get to "high" or "low" as options. If you click high or low either one will stay on continously. Both options are extremely quiet. It sounds like the person who had a louid nose on the low setting had a defective fan.
Question:	What are the dimensions of this fan
Answer:	It’s not an AC unit so it will only be as cool (or slightly less hot) as the air from the source. That being said you could use this fan on Exhaust to suck hot air out and use a tower fan to create a breeze in the room. But to cool a room on a 90+ degree day, I’d recommend a window AC. This fan will circulate air tho, so it’s not a bad place to start.

Answer:	This is our second window fan. I don't remember what brand/model etc our first fan was, but the CFM WAS WAY higher than this Holmes fan. My assumption is by lowering the maximum fan speed & thus drastically lower the CFM, they can advertise the fan as being quieter and using less energy. ***We have used this fan for 2 years and we DO NOT recommend it if you are looking for a high CFM (volume) fan***

Answer:	I’ve been using an older version of this fan for about 20, yup, 20 years. I use it in a garage studio. Sometimes it runs for months 24/7. It’s slowing down, tons of dirt and mysterious things on it. While it is exhaling i spray wd30 on it till it speeds up again, lol. I have absolutely punished this fan. But like I said, I run it all year, summer and winter. One side died about 4 years ago, but the other is running as we speak. The reason I saw this is because I was looking to see if they still made it. Yay they do; and it is very quiet. Next paycheck I’m getting a new one. I love the intake exhaust function,brilliant! Answer:	The actual battery life of the doorbell depends on the number of wakeups and accesses per day and of course, the recording time will also matter. Usually, in standby mode, it can last for over 3 months(10 times wake-up per day). And it can wake up at least 1000 times when it is fully charged. Besides, as this product uses PIR thermal detection, there are two triggering principles: 1) when there is a temperature difference, 2) when there is a moving object. So we recommend not to place the doorbell too close to the street or the crowds, in order to avoid unnecessary wake-ups due to the temperature differences caused by the vehicles or personnel passing. *Please install the doorbell camera in a place that is away from direct sunlight or street lights for better performance.

Answer:	The cord comes out the middle in a small gap and can either direction. This is so you can reverse the fan. So either way you have the fan installed (intake or outtake). The cord can come inside or outside if you wish.

Answer:	With the pleated section and expansion panel removed, the fan measures 24" wide. You will need to get past the 23" wide inner dimension of your window. Perhaps you can angle it in one side first then square it up, but I doubt it since your depth is so shallow. If you are desperate to get a fan to fit, you could cut away 1/2" of the main housing on each side with a hacksaw. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Our fan fits with the screen. We removed the screen once, just to see if it would be better. The fan sucked little mosquitoes and other flying things into the room and my bed was covered with dead bugs! My advice is to LEAVE THE SCREEN IN!!

Answer:	Not sure- I wouldn’t recommend this fan. Mine stopped working after just a couple of weeks. I think taking apart would be risky since it isn’t well made.

Answer:	It's about 10 1/2 high and fan itself is about 23 1/2 long. There are fins on either side. The "Fixed" fin is 5" wide. It can be left off completely. The other fin can be expanded. I have the fan in a 31" wide window. The Holmes Box says "fits virtually any window". I read the comment the consumer made about the motor getting very hot. I have not found this to be the case. But then too I only use mine in cooler weather since generally I run central air conditioning. My only other comment is that after buying this Holmes I bought a similar fan made by Comfort Zone which I like a whole lot better because it came with feet so you can easily use it as a sitting unit not just in the window. The way the Holmes is designed that is hard to do. It too has an exhaust feature and it's much easier to see which side is which.It's Model CZ319. I like the fin set up better on the Holmes but overall prefer the Comfort Zone

Answer:	On bottom of fan is sticker that says 27 watts. At 120 volts, this equals 0.23 amps, or a low-powered fan. The blades are 8" wide, so this fan should not be called a 12" fan. The breeze output is minimal, and as indicated y another customer, the fan makes a grinding noise (especially in low setting). Poor build quality all around.
