I base my guess on recent measurements I took for an outdoor AC condenser that my HOA required to be under 65db, and the fan seems maybe 10-15 db louder. On low speed I doubt this fan would keep you awake if you were 15 feet away or more, it doesn't really make much noise on low, but on high it sounds like a small airplane taking off nearby, but it's an outdoor fan so that may actually help if you happen to live near an airport by drowning out real planes. |
