Answer:	No this particular fan is not enclosed if that’s the type of fan motor you need then I would not use this particular fan however other than that it’s a very good fan I did not need it enclosed

Question:	How many speeds
Answer:	Yes, but it is not a switch or pull that does it. The oscillating arm would need to be disconnected. Easy, but not flip a switch easy.
Question:	Does it tilt
Answer:	on the high setting it is a little loud
Question:	Can this fan be hard wired
Answer:	If I had to guess it's somewhere around 70-80db, depending on what setting you have it on. I base my guess on recent measurements I took for an outdoor AC condenser that my HOA required to be under 65db, and the fan seems maybe 10-15 db louder. On low speed I doubt this fan would keep you awake if you were 15 feet away or more, it doesn't really make much noise on low, but on high it sounds like a small airplane taking off nearby, but it's an outdoor fan so that may actually help if you happen to live near an airport by drowning out real planes.
