Answer:	I would be EXTREMELY wary of plugging a heater into a power strip. If you are running something at 1500W that line has to be good. The longer the cord, the more electrical resistance. The more resistance, the more heat (and risk of fire). The more cords that can be faulty, the higher the chance one is.Get a GOOD surge protector, and test and inspect it regularly. Make sure its one with lights that indicate if it is protecting properly. Also it's best to get a new surge protector every 5 years or so because they will inevitably absorb some small surges that wear them out over time.When it comes to devices that can burn your house down you should take electrical safety very, very seriously.
Question:	Owners manual (Pg 3) states only to use WIN100 with 3-prong (grounded) appliance cords!!! Most space heater cords only have 2 prongs. Experiences
Answer:	The only bad thing you can do as far as 2 or 3 pronged plugs go, is to remove the third grounding prong on a plug in order to make it work in an ungrounded (2-prong) receptacle or extension cord. Otherwise plugging a 2-pronged device into a 3-pronged outlet is perfectly safe. The 3rd prong is usually connected to the metal chassis of an appliance so that if something inside gets knocked around or wet and ends up energizing the metal chassis - it will cause the circuit to short and hopefully trip the circuit breaker, instead of creating a shock hazard by energizing the other metal parts on the device. Question:	can this be used for outside dog house heat lamp in the winter? I would want it to come on when the temp drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit
Answer:	That is exactly what I use it for. It's been in the dog house for 2 years now. The chew proof comments are not really valid. You wouldn't want the dog getting the chance to make contact with the heater right? So to solve the situation, youd get some welded fence wire and put a box around the heating element. I put the controller in the same large welded wire box. Dogs can't get to any of it which is the most responsible way to keep it from being broken, chewed, or catching a fire (I keep hay in the box too).

Question:	is it a good fan for a radiator? h100i Extreme performance? if not what fans would you recommend
Answer:	After a lot of "research," and by that I mean reading reviews and then trying out samples of various makes and models, I chose this fan specifically for use with a radiator. It provided the best balance of static pressure, air flow, low motor and blade noise, and overall noise quality. Then there's design excellence and build quality: best of the bunch. The fan is expensive, but I have no doubt that it will outlast my current build, which I use 12 to 18 hours a day in my small photography business. I have three of the fans pulling air through an EK Coolstream XE 360, one working in a restricted intake port and two in restricted outlet ports, and, just because I like the fan so much, one in an unrestricted outlet port. Cooling an FX-8370 running at 4.83 Ghz I'm getting roughly 5 degree sustained delta temps at idle and 25-30 degrees at 100% power on all 8 cores, and the 8370 is a hot running chip.

Answer:	Generally fans with high static pressure are good for radiators as they are able to concentrate the air flow better than high air flow fans. Allows for airflow to be concentrated on the radiator fins rather than just pushing a mass amount of air into the system. So just keep an eye out for fans that have high static pressure and the same radiator size. Obviously you want to make sure other buyers find the fan reliable as well.

Question:	How do I turn off the time periods timer
Answer:	Sorry, you have to push the up or down arrow button to display the set temperature. On the other hand, after your system has operated for a while, the displayed ambient temp. is pretty much the set temp. because of the rather narrow temp. "swing" (even with the maximum "swing" of 1-1/4 degree F).

Answer:	No. It requires batteries to operate. It does NOT have a built in power supply circuit.

Answer:	On the lower left side of the circuit board will be 3 jumpers, JP1, JP2, JP3. Jumper JP3 should be across both pins on the circuit board then press the reset button on the left side of the circuit board for 3-5 seconds. Fahrenheit temperature will now be displayed. LUX Technical Support
Question:	I have a 120V relay/contactor that manages my baseboard heaters. So I need a thermostat that can handle a inductive load. Will this work
Answer:	This was an important question to me because of where I was installing the thermostat. The first thermostat installed was a Honeywell - that was when I found out Honeywell thermostats do not have the temp swing/differential feature - they are designed to keep a room at an even temp. The problem with this is that it was causing my furnace to short-cycle a lot because the area was not well insulated! After some research I discovered that because of the room not being well insulated, I needed to have a thermostat with a temp swing/differential feature. In looking at this thermostat (DMH110) on-line I was seeing conflicting answers on this question. One person here said it was up to a 1.25 degree swing whereas on another website they said it went up to a 2.25 degree swing. I decided to contact Lux directly via email and they got back to me right away. Here is a copy and paste of their answer to my question specifically related to the DMH110: "The Temperature Swing feature will be from Swing #1 - .25 ˚ F +/- to Swing #9 ? 2.25˚ F +/-. Answer:	It's a universal replacement motor. Have no idea if it will fit yours.

Answer:	China , holding the original motor next to this one for comparison , they looked exactly the same. Maybe the frame on the new one was a little beefier, quality looked O.K. to me .

Answer:	The fan blade diameter is just under 4.6 inches or about 4 and 19/32 inches

Answer:	Shaft is 1 3/4”. The assembly is universal. The shaft can be easily shortened with a hacksaw if needed. It has a groove cut into it to insure it is cut to the correct length if needed.

Answer:	No but most of your newer motherboards will have a BIOS setting where you can dictate the behavior of the power button to act as a reset button.

Answer:	Yes

Answer:	The max GPU lenght is 405mm (15.94 inches)
Question:	What type of connectors are on the pre-included fans
Answer:	3 pin non pwm. The case cones with a controller included that can handle 5 or 6 3 pin fans (fans will spin full speed) and 5 or 6 rgb 3 pin 5v devices. The hub wires to a motherboard (asus, msi, and 2 others) with a 3 pin 5v header. The hub is powered off sata on your psu. If your mono cant control the rgb it can be dobe with a button on the case. But fans are 3 pin and 5v argb 3 pin.
