Answer:	dead4red answered your question but I just want to emphasize the need to stick with what the manufacturer suggests for sq footage. I bought this model in 2013 for our bedroom after my allergies really got much worse and my allergist told me to rip up carpeting and replace with area rugs that can be washed (cotton), cover the mattress/boxspring/pillows with quality allergy protectants, take down curtains, and buy a Germ Guardian HEPA air purifier. I did all but thought it may not matter that this model is too small for our bedroom. Yes, I slept better but finally decided to get a model that actually covers the area. And it made a huge difference. If your allergies are not that bad and/or you just want to get rid of smells or something, then you're not in the same league as me. But if you have the allergies that I have and it is very problematic, don't do what I did initially-be cheap. Instead, cough up (not literally) an extra $50-$100 and get the model that manufacturer recommends.

Answer:	Hello, I just received my unit. I plugged it in and the Power Light was flashing red AND the blue UV-C light was flashing. Resetting the unit by pushing and holding in the UV-C Button changed the power light to green but the UV-C light is still flashing. Any suggestions? Answer:	The hepa filter is not washable, I use the charcoal black filters that they sell with the hepa filter or seperate, I use my shop vac and once a week I use the shop vac to remove the dust etc out of the filters you can feel the suction from the other side. I have reused one chrcol filter for 3 weeks now whem.I use to replace once a week, the air quality is just as clean as a new one. I use one filter for 4 weeks with a good shop vac sessiononce a week. I have respiratory disease and my inside air quality monitor showd the air quality the same with a shop vac cleaned 4-week filter as it does with this brand new filter.

Answer:	When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut OFF and the indicator will illuminate on the control panel followed by a beeping sound. Please refer to the product manual on the website www.honeywellhomecomfort.com for more information.

Answer:	I am using mine on the hard floor. If you use it on the carpet, the unit probably won’t roll as easily. There is no leakage from the unit.
Question:	Does this produce a lot of warm/hot air coming from the top
Answer:	When the dehumidifier is switched ON, a fan pulls moisture-laden air into the dehumidifier where it passes through dehumidifying coils inside the unit. These coils condense moisture from the air and collect it in the water tank. The dry air is then exhausted from the dehumidifier. The air flows through the air vents of the dehumidifier into the room as DRY, WARM air. Answer:	Yes, but it must be configured to do so. If you see only "heat/cool/off" in the mode screen, then press "fan" and "up" simultaneously. When the screen changes, press "next" until you reach option 12. Setting "0" enables "heat/cool/off" in the mode screen, while setting"1" enables "heat/cool/auto/off." Setting "3" is "auto/off" only. When you press "done," your mode screen will show the option you selected. FYI: In "auto" mode, the "heat" temperature at any time must always be at least 3 degrees less than the "cool" temperature.
