As noted in the instructions, to get to continous air flow, you just keep clicking the button through the modes (first you click throught the various thermostat temperatures, and then you get to "high" or "low" as options. If you click high or low either one will stay on continously. Both options are extremely quiet. It sounds like the person who had a louid nose on the low setting had a defective fan. |

It’s slowing down, tons of dirt and mysterious things on it. While it is exhaling i spray wd30 on it till it speeds up again, lol. I have absolutely punished this fan. But like I said, I run it all year, summer and winter. One side died about 4 years ago, but the other is running as we speak. The reason I saw this is because I was looking to see if they still made it. Yay they do; and it is very quiet. Next paycheck I’m getting a new one. I love the intake exhaust function,brilliant! | Answer: | I think it can, I don't remember well, as I returned the product right after I received. I was not happy with the quality and the amount of air it moved. If a "quiet" fan is not your major requirement consider the Air King 2312 or 2314. They move a lot of air! |

| Answer: | You can adjust the fan to the angle you want; I've used it on a dresser, and on the floor. The base is very sturdy. It has so much power that I've never set it above 'low'. This is the best fan I've ever used. |

| Answer: | From underneath the fan, I read that it is run on 120 volts and uses 0.6 amp. By definition, max watts used at high speed is 120 X 0.6 = 72 watts. |

| Answer: | Yes. There 10 medium screws and one small Phillips screws that allow the back to be come off so the blades can be cleaned. The front also comes off but it is a more complicated procedure and not really needed to clean the blades. |

| Answer: | I would not call it quiet on low speed. It bothers me as I work in my office when set to low. It's 8 feet from me where I sit. After a while, the fan noise bugs me. Maybe it will be better if I set it on sleep or breeze. |
